This article will explain the Biblical doctrine of the Rapture and also provide some advice for anyone who feels they've been LEFT BEHIND.
The Bible is God's word. The Bible teaches that the next event on God's prophetic calendar is for the Lord to return to the earth FOR his own. Jesus came 2,000 years ago TO His own (the Jews), and He will come at the Second Coming WITH His own (after the Tribulation). The Rapture takes place BEFORE the Tribulation, and then 7-years later the Lord returns to the earth with all the saints who were Raptured.
A Pretribulation Rapture is the only thing that makes sense. Why would the Lord Rapture the saints after the Tribulation, at the same time He is returning to the earth to set up His millennial kingdom in Jerusalem? Clearly, the Rapture must occur separately from the Second Coming.
Literally, the lord Jesus Christ will Rapture (catch away) every saint from upon the earth, into the air to meet with the Lord in the clouds. Our loved ones who have died in the lord and gone on before us will be there. It will be a great time of rejoicing and gladness, knowing that our suffering and hardships and journey upon the earth is done. Home at last!
However, all those who have rejected Christ will be left behind upon the earth. Immediately following the Rapture, the tribulation will begin upon the earth. The tribulation will last for seven years, during which period the man of San, the Antichrist, will rise to power. He will be a world dictator wielding incredible lying wonders and signs the Bible says.
If you have been left behind and are reading this, then you have now entered the Tribulation period. If you are wise you will receive Jesus, the Christ, immediately; believing that He died, was buried and rose again three days later for your sins and mine. Only by receiving Christ and being born anew by the Spirit of God, can you understand all that is going on. You may have missed the Rapture, but thank God you don't have to go to Hell. The choice is yours.
1st Thessalonians 4:17, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
The word “Rapture” is not found in the Bible, but the phrase “CAUGHT UP” certainly is in the Scripture we just read. “Caught up” means the same thing as “raptured.” Likewise the word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible, but the word “Godhead” is if you have a faithful and inspired King James Bible (Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:9). Modern Bible are corrupted by Satan and the word “Godhead” is completely gone.
2nd Thessalonians 2:3, “Let no man deceive you by any
means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away
first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.” There is
much debate concerning the meaning of the phrase “a falling away.” The Greek
word is apostasia, which I think clearly means what it means, “a
defection from truth.” I have read quite a few Bible commentaries by
fundamentalist scholars who teach that this phrase refers to the Rapture. After
years of debating in my own mind concerning the literal meaning, I am now
convinced that this phrase refers to social anarchy. This is what the Greek
means, that is, apostasy. Here is further evidence to support this

Massive End Time Population Explosion Evidences The Times
The Bible doesn't tell us how many people perished during the flood, but if we take a look at historical data from the year 2622 BC (which is believed to be the year of the flood) to about 1000 BC, then during those 1,500 years we see that the population of the earth had grown to about 50 million.
So although we don't know for certain, it is very likely that tens-of-millions of people drowned in the flood of Noah's day and I believe it was around 50 million people. It is estimated that from 4,000 B.C. (Biblical creation of mankind) until 2,500 B.C. (when the flood occurred). As the following chart evidences, there were likely less than 50,000,000 people who perished in the flood of Noah's time.
A picture is worth 1,000 words they say. It is quite amazing and telling, I think, that the earth's population has skyrocketed just in the past few centuries. Look at the chart below based upon historical data. You would think that the population curve would have increased steadily, and not a drastic curve toward the end. Clearly, we are approaching the End Times of civilization...
It is very interesting to note that The Georgia Guidestones call for a reduction in the world's population of 90%. Literally, the global elite behind the New World Order want to reduce the earth's population back down to about 500 million people. If you look at the chart above, 500 million people would appear on the graph directly between zero and one. This is not my opinion, this is written in stone by the globalists, on the mysterious Georgia Guidestones. This I think is convincing secular evidence in support of Bible prophecy, showing that we are close to the end of the world as we know it.
Please understand that I do not set a date for the
lord's return. The Bible plainly teaches that no man knows the day nor the hour
when the Lord will return. The Jehovah's Witnesses religious cult is known for
SETTING DATES. One of their websites is called TrueBibleCode.com and it's
filled with doctrines of devils. The Jehovah's Witnesses are false witness,
telling lies. Proverb 14:25, “A true witness delivereth souls: but a
deceitful witness speaketh lies.”
Christ Rejected By The End Time Generation
The Bible prophecies that in the End Times, Christ will be rejected by an entire generation, just as in Noah's day when only eight people boarded the ark. Luke 17:25-26, “But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” Will you be left behind at the Rapture? Most people will?
The Bible says that in the end times Jesus Christ will be rejected of that generation. Already in the world today in 2012 we're seeing that many people reject Jesus Christ. In nearly every Hollywood movie today, the name of Jesus Christ is blasphemed. Increasingly churches are becoming entertainment centers instead of preaching the Word of God. Instead of singing the old hymns of the faith, churches today have emotional experiences and call it praise worship.
As we near the End Times, hostility toward Christianity will intensify. Jesus foretold that Christians will be killed, thinking they're doing God a favor (John 16:2). Jesus said that many will betray and hate one another (Matthew 24:10), and due to unpunished evil (iniquity) the love of many will wax cold (Matthew 24:12). Already today we are seeing legalized same-sex marriage, legalized abortion and legalized pornography in America. Sodom and Gomorrah weren't this rebellious!
Two Women Shall Be Grinding, The One
Taken, And The Other Left
"Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left" (Luke 17:35,36).
There are two different theological theories concerning this Scripture (and others like it).
- The Rapture (this is what I believe)
- Tares Separated From The Wheat At Christ's Second Coming
Only eight people were saved from the flood. EIGHT PEOPLE! Noah and his wife, and their three sons and wives. So NO ONE was saved when the flood came. I can't help but believe that when the Rapture happens, it will almost be a non-event to the world. I doubt if it will even cause a ripple in the news. Do you think a bunch of unsaved people are going to care if a few thousand people are missing? This lost world thinks that Roman Catholics are Christians and will be raptured, but they won't be. Catholics are not saved, because they errantly trust in the sacraments of the Catholic Church to save them, and good works. Ephesians 2:8-9 plainly teach that words cannot saved. Salvation is by faith alone in Jesus Christ Who died, was buried and rose again three days later for our justification.
Consider the mysterious crop circles phenomena which has been appearing all around the world in recent years. No one can explain them. No one knows where they come from. Yet, no one really cares either. I think this type of indifferent attitude will be present at the time of the Rapture (which could occur at any time). I think the Rapture will happen virtually unnoticed by the world.
The Bible teaches that when the Lord comes at the Second Coming to punish the world, it will be as a thief in the night. Matthew 24:29 says the Second Coming will occur AFTER the Tribulation. The Rapture occurs BEFORE the Tribulation.
The Bible likens Christ's return for the righteous to Lot and his family being delivered from Sodom before sudden destruction came upon the wicked. Most scholars believe this refers to the Rapture. The Bible says that the world will be judged suddenly, as in the days of Noah when the flood came. When the Lord removes the saints from the world at the Rapture, there will be 3-years of peace as the Antichrist rises to power. During this time there will be horrible disasters and signs from Heaven and the beginning of sorrows. The last 3 1/2 years will be a horrifying time such as mankind has never known. God will pour out His wrath upon humanity during the Tribulation.
So when does the coming judgment likened to the judgment upon Sodom happen? Will the wicked be punished during the Tribulation after the saints are Raptured? Yes, we know that is true. Or will the wicked be punished at the Second Coming of Christ when he gathers the tares to be burned in the Lake of Fire forever? Both events will happen, but which event does Luke 17:35,36 refer to... the Rapture of the saints, or the gathering of the tares? You decide. I know men of God who believe either way. It's no easy choice. I think most of us want to believe it is referring to the Rapture, because that's what we've been told all our life.
However, it could just as easily be referring to the taking of the tares from amongst the wheat when Christ returns without warning. The world won't be looking for Christ at the Second Coming, because the Rapture will likely not be noticed by the world. It will quickly be explained away. Later on this page I list over two dozen false religious groups that will NOT be Raptured. These left behind groups are thought to be Christians by the unsaved world, so when the Rapture happens no one is going to recognize it.
One thing is for certain—whether or not Luke 17:35-36 refers to the Rapture of the gathering of the tares we do not know—but we DO KNOW that this is exactly what will happened at the Rapture. Two shall be walking and the other left. My personal feelings is that it is the Rapture spoken of here, and here is why...
The Bible compares what is going to happen (when two women are grinding, the one taken and the other left) with God delivery Noah and his family from the flood. The Bible also compares the coming separation of two men walking in a field (one taken and the other left) with Lot and his family being removed from Sodom before its utter destruction. In both cases of Noah and Lot, God removed THE RIGHTEOUS before punishing the wicked. Likewise, I believe that the coming event spoken of in Matthew 24:37-39 and Luke 35:35,36 refers to THE RAPTURE when God will remove THE RIGHTEOUS from the earth before the Tribulation period.
It doesn't make sense that God would remove the wicked tares, when in both cases of Noah and Lot God removed the righteous. Thus, I believe that separating of two men sleeping, and two women grinding, and two men walking, clearly refers to the Rapture of the saints (the righteous). Then God will judge the wicked during the Tribulation, pouring out His wrath upon the ungodly and purging Israel.
The Rapture Has Not Occurred As Of May
2012
The Rapture could happen at any time, but we do NOT know when. No man knows, nor the angels in Heaven.
The Godless New International Version (NIV) of the Bible totally removes the above Scripture, but the FAITHFUL King James Bible (not the "new" King James either) does contain this verse. The King James Bible teaches that a Rapture will indeed occur without warning. Obviously, at the writing of this article the rapture has NOT yet occurred (or I wouldn't be here). All born-again believers will be caught up into the clouds to meet with the Lord when He returns FOR His own at the rapture.
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" -1st Thessalonians 4:16,17
I am writing this article for those of you who
may someday be LEFT BEHIND at the rapture. Most likely you'll find this
article through an online search engine or a friend. If the rapture has
already occurred, I can help you and you have come to right place. There
are many things that you need to know.
Why You Were Left Behind?
First of all, the reason "why?" you were left behind is simply because you are not a born-again Christian. It's that simple. We often refer to being born again as being "saved." So if you've been left behind, you need to get saved. Yes, you can still get saved, but it is highly unlikely. 2nd Thessalonians 2:11 clearly teaches that God Himself will send a "strong delusion" after the rapture to prevent people from seeing the truth. Though this may not sound like something God would do, this is exactly what happened during the days of Noah. The wicked idiot people laughed in Noah's face, mocking him. Anyone who refuses to listen to the TRUTH is an idiot.
Once God closed the door on the ark, it was CLOSED for good. When the flood waters began to rise, the people greatly feared and pleaded with Noah to open the door of the ark. It was too late. Listen friend, 2nd Peter 3:9 tells us that God does NOT want anyone to perish, but there is a point-of-no-return" which you can cross with God's mercy. If you reject Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour now, then you may not have a chance after the rapture. The door of opportunity will one day close. The door of salvation will one day close to you (and that "Door" is Jesus, John 10:1,9).
The Bible does teach that A FEW people will be saved during the Tribulation period (the time period AFTER the Rapture). Though God will send a "strong delusion," the Bible does not say that no one will be saved. Even today, most people are on the broad highway to Hell while only a FEW are on the narrow path of life (Matthew 7:13,14). If you are reading this article, then hopefully you are one of the very fortunate few who has seen the TRUTH.
You must realize that nearly everything you've ever been taught is a big lie. The whole world has been deceived by Satan since the creation of mankind. Satan is a master counterfeiter, a deceiver of deceivers, a liar or liars (John 8:44; 2nd Corinthians 11:13-15).
"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." (2nd Thessalonians 2:9,10).
The above Scripture reveals that the antichrist (a world political leader) will work "with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish." This means that the antichrist will have people eating out of the palm of his hand. The world's masses will fall hook, line and sinker for his tactics and deceit. It's very interesting. Even today we see this happening. George W. Bush is an occult member of Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove and the Freemasons, yet MOST Christian people voted for him in both Presidential elections.
The disaster of 911 has President George W. Bush's fingerprints all over it. When a woman claimed that Bush had raped her, she was shot dead within weeks. Yet, Christian people foolishly continue to support such an evil man.
