Revelation 22:10: “And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.”

Revelation 22:18-19, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Prophecy is history written in advance. Albeit, Revelation is Christ-centered, not just prophetic. Revelation 19:10 proclaims the Jesus is the spirit of all prophecy. Jesus is the risen Christ! In revelation we see Christ reigning in power.

Don't ever let anyone, like heretic Martin Luther, tell you that you can't understand Revelation. God promised a blessing to anyone who reads this book (Revelation 1:3).

There are 4 common methods of interpretation concerning the Biblical book of Revelation:

• The preterist (meaning past) view - Errantly claims that Revelation was all fulfilled by the end of the 1st century. John mentions prophecy seven times in Revelation.
• The historical view - Errantly claims that Revelation is not literal, attempting to find secular events in history to explain away the literal value of the prophecies in Revelation.
• The spiritual view - Falsely claims that the teachings in Revelation are merely symbolic of the conflict between good and evil and are not literal.
• The futurist view - This is the correct and Biblical view, which believes that the book of Revelation is literal prophecy.

In his wonderful introduction to Revelation (mp3 study #177), Dr. Younce states, “If Revelation is not to be interpreted as prophecy, then God has not given us a book in the New Testament to explain the future of the world, the course of history and the victory of the Church, the judgment of sin and the fulfillment of the prophecies and the promises found in the Old Testament (and that would be unthinkable). No, the book of Revelation is that book. And the student who reverently approaches this book as a prophecy of events (that will transpire after the Church is caught away) will be rewarded.” Amen, that's good stuff! ~comments by David J. In Ezekiel chapter 16 God's chosen tribe of Israel is portrayed in an amazing relationship with her Creator as His bride. She is Jehovah's unique bride among the nations. Of all the nations on earth, Christ chose Israel alone to become His spiritual wife to have spiritual relations with Him alone. Yet this passage goes on to describe how Israel prostituted that relationship, being called a “whore.” Israel became a spiritual harlot by worshipping other gods. In no less than 86 clear passages in the Old Testament, Israel is pointedly described as “a whore.” In fact, having been the first to marry God, she became the mother of spiritual harlots. Although many religious systems throughout history have turned their backs on Christ to become spiritual harlots, only apostate Israel is the mother of the principle of spiritual whoredom. Only apostate Israel as “Mother Of Harlots” branded on her forehead forever.

Who Are The Seven Kings Of Revelation 17:9-11?

There have been 6 world powers throughout history; namely, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. We read about these “kings” in Revelation 17:9-11, “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”

Revelation 17:10 says 5 kings are fallen because Rome was still in power during New Testament times when Revelation was written in A.D. 96. Revelation 17:9-11 makes perfect sense in view of Daniel's vision in 2:36-49 (see chart to left). Daniel's interpretation (as revealed by God in Heaven) clearly evidences that we are today living in the End Times.

Nebuchadnezzar was the head of gold (Babylon). Medo-Persia was the breast of silver. Greece was the thighs of brass. The Roman empire was the legs of Iron. Rome fell to ruin in 486 A.D.; today there are no world-powers, only super-powers. The 7th kingdom is the New World Order!!! The Bible says in Revelation 17:11 that the 8th king (that is, the Antichrist) is of the 7th.

Please note that the 7th king will NOT BE the revived Roman Empire as many Bible scholars teach (from quoting others). The Bible never says that. The 7th king will be World Government, aka, the New World Order, from which the Antichrist will arise, very likely a Jew.

The above chart begins with Calvary. Then we see the Gentile Age (the history of the Church). The First resurrection is the PRE-tribulation Rapture when Christ returns FOR His saints  (1st Thessalonians 4:17). Then we see that while the raptured saints will go through the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; while back here on earth the Antichrist will rule the New World Order and God will pour out His wrath upon the world for their wickedness. After the 7-year Tribulation period there will be the Second Coming of Christ (the Lord's descent to the earth).

Christ here returns WITH His saints and the Battle of Armageddon is fought. Armageddon is a literal valley called “Megiddo” in Israel. The Beast (Antichrist) and the False Prophet will be defeated and the Lord will begin His earthly 1000-year reign from Jerusalem over the whole earth. Satan will be bound in chains and imprisoned for 1000-years.

At the end of the 1000-years, there will be a short rebellion after Satan is released from the Bottomless Pit. There will be humans during the Millennium who are the descendants of those saved during the Tribulation period. Some of these people will join Satan in his rebellion against God. Satan and his rebellion will be defeated and then the Great White Throne of Judgment will follow, during which all unsaved people throughout history will be convicted and cast into the eternal Lake of Fire. Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet will also be cast into the lake of Fire to be punished day-and-night forever and ever. This will be the final judgment of all the doomed.

The earth will be burned over, purged with fire and God will make all things new (2nd Peter 3:7,12; Revelation 21:4). The saved throughout history will dwell upon the earth with God forever and ever in genuine love, lasting peace, true happiness, perfect harmony and bountiful plenty. 1st Corinthians 15:28, “And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” Amen and amen!

Apostasy & the End Times

       2nd Thessalonians 2:9,10 states: “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” This passage of Scripture speaks about the 7-year Tribulation Period, after the Rapture, when the masses of this world will eagerly follow the Antichrist, thinking he is a wonderful person. Most people in the world today DON'T love the truth, nor do they have any desire to hear the truth. When you tell them the truth they become defensive and argumentative. Some people get very angry. Only a small fraction of people love and receive the truth of the Gospel to get saved.

We are clearly living in the End Times (see 2nd Timothy 3:1-7), as evidenced by the prophecy in Revelation 17:10, “And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.” The first 5-kings (or world powers) have been Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece. Rome was the 6th world power at the writing of Revelation. There have been no world powers since Rome fell in the 5th century A.D., although there are several super power nations today such as China, Russia and the U.S.A. The NEXT, or 7th, world power will be the New World Order (a coalition of 10 nations, Revelation 17:12), and the 8th king will be the BEAST, i.e., the Antichrist... “And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition” (Revelation 17:11). The Antichrist will arise to power out of the New World Order.

This is why I personally believe that the Lord's return, i.e., the Pretribulation Rapture is very near. Amen! ~by David J. Stewart

The Need is Great for Doctrinally Sound Resources on Bible Prophecy

       I am saddened that some of the greatest books and sermons on prophecy are NOT freely available to the public. The reason is obvious, the books are being sold for money. Though I do understand a ministry trying to keep afloat, I have always been a firm believer that what God gives us for free should be given freely. That's just my opinion. The TRUTH should never be kept back for money! 

Proverbs 23:23 instructs us to "Buy the truth, and sell it not..." In other words, we should be willing to pay for the truth if we need to, but we should NEVER sell it. I have never sold anything on this website, and never will. I would never sell truth which God has given me for free. Most people, who would never spend a dime to buy a “religious book,” WILL often take the time to read something that is FREE.

I contacted a well-known ministry years ago to ask if I could place some books online by a great preacher who has now gone on to Heaven. They have all the copyrights. I said I'd do all the work and even start a separate website just for his materials. They didn't even respond. I wrote them again, but to no avail. I can just picture that man of God up in Heaven throwing a fit. He spent his entire life soul-winning, building churches, and authoring umpteen books to share his wealth of knowledge—just to watch his labors in the Lord die with him. His materials are superbly written, but the almighty dollar comes first. No wonder America is going to Hell. There are wicked heathens online, who give all their vile filth away for free; but then Christ-honoring literature, which was authored by great men of God, is horded and kept hidden.

Thankfully, there are numerous books and sermons on prophecy available from doctrinally-sound men of God. I share much of these resources through my ministry. Beware of trash on the internet like ENDTIME.COM, which teaches the false doctrine of Baptismal Regeneration concerning salvation.

Let me put it to you this way. If I had spent my entire life writing books and preaching sermons, and then died and went to Heaven... I would want those books and sermons in the hands of as many people as possible after I was gone. Think about it. "Where there is no vision, the people perish..." (Proverb 29:18). The problem is that many ministries don't have the right VISION, so the great men of God perish as a result. We need to keep the great men of God alive. Heresy abounds on the internet, and there is a desperate NEED for Bible-believing Christians to contend for the Biblical faith. ~by David J. Beware of Post-Tribulation Rapture Heresy Online!

       The teaching of the Lord's pretribulation return is important. Although this doctrine does not have any determination upon one's personal salvation (eternal life), it is important because it keeps us on our toes, so-to-speak, busy serving the Lord and living holy because we anticipate His sudden, imminent, unpredictable, return. 1st John 3:2-3, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”

There's tons of Post-Tribulation and PreWrath heresy on the internet. It's everywhere today! According to 1st Thessalonians 4:17, Christians will be 'CAUGHT UP' (raptured) before the 7-year TRIBULATION begins. The first 3 1/2 years will be a time of deceit and peace. The Bible teaches that the Antichrist by peace shall destroy many (Daniel 8:25). That is very interesting. The world will be deceived by the Antichrist (2nd Thessalonians 2:10-11). Instead of using brutal Communism, putting guns to people's heads, the Antichrist will come as a form of Rock music star, a Hollywood actor, an international celebrity, and the whole world will be deceived to follow him. Revelation 12:9, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Don't be fooled by all the false teaching of a Postribulation Rapture (which is really no Rapture at all). It makes no sense that Jesus would catch away the saints, while at the same time He is returning to the earth. That's like pushing and pulling a door at the same time. 1st Thessalonians 4:17 plainly teaches that the saints will be 'CAUGHT UP' (the Rapture). Matthew 24 speaks of the tares being separated from the wheat, which the Lord explains in Matthew 25:32-33, “And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.” Please note that this is NOT the Rapture; but rather, a gathering of the nations as prophesied in the Scriptures.

If you take the Bible at face value, then you can only conclude a PreTribulation Rapture. Consider The Abomination Of Desolation (an event which will signify 3 1/2 years remaining before Christ returns at the Second Coming). In sharp contrast, the Bible teaches that NO MAN knows the day nor the hour when the Rapture will occur (Matthew 25:13). If the Rapture is the same as the Second Coming (or occurs at the same time), then everyone will know WHEN because of The Abomination of Desolation (the event when the Antichrist stands in the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and claims to be God). Revelation 13:15 says the Antichrist will demand that the masses of earth worship His image of die! Many Christians saved during the Tribulation will be beheaded.

The bottom line is that Jesus foretold NO MAN knows the TIME of Christ's return, not even the angels in Heaven. It is a carefully guarded secret, to maintain the element of surprise, as a motivation for believers to stay busy for God and live Christlike. Jesus plainly taught this truth, which can only be interpreted as the Rapture happening BEFORE the 7 year tribulation (aka, Daniel's 70th week):

Mark 13:32-37, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:  Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
