—Great Men of God—

Jeremiah 5:5a, “I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD....”

America is overwhelmed today with dime-a-dozen preachers; what America desperately needs is men who walk with God. Ironically, those who know the Bible the best oftentimes do the least for God. The following godly men were all builders, not deeper-life, deadbeat, theologians. The most eloquent words are totally useless if the feet don't carry the gospel to the lost. This is why God called the feet “beautiful” in Romans 10:15 instead of the lips, tongue or mouth. Do you have beautiful feet? These men all had beautiful feet.

Excellent Pulpit Sayings:

  • The Bible is an amazing Book! When you're down, it'll lift you up. When you're up, it'll bring you down. When you're in, it'll get you out. When you're out, it'll bring you in!
  • Men do not reject the Bible because it contradicts itself, but because it contradicts them.
  • Some people give Satan a stick to beat them with.
  • There's a judgment coming, but you have the choice to settle out of court.
  • The Christian life is not a playground, it's a battleground.

“But hath in due times manifested his word through PREACHING...” —Titus 1:3

A Wonderful Paradox

A real Christian is an odd number. He feels supreme love for the One Whom he has never seen; talks familiarly every day to Someone he cannot see; expects to go to Heaven on the virtue of Another; empties himself in order to be full; admits he is wrong so he can be declared right; goes down in order to get up; is strongest when he is weakest; richest when he is poorest and happiest when he feels the worst. He dies so he can live; forsakes in order to have; gives away so he can keep; sees the invisible; hears the inaudible; and knows that which passeth understanding.

Pastor Jack Hyles & Evangelist Lester Roloff

“The greatest need of every individual is to know and hear the gospel and to accept it.”

Here are Brother Roloff's comments to the secular newsmedia concerning the thug State of Texas unconstitutionally shutting down his ministry helping troubled teens...

“There's nothing Christian about it. There's nothing American about it. There's nothing Scriptural. There's nothing Constitutional about it. They're the law-breakers. They've broken every law here. What if George Washington were to come back on his old horse, Lexington? What if Paul Revere were to ride through this country tonight? What if Patrick Henry were to come back saying, 'Give me liberty or give me death.' And yet, we got death out of it, see. And yet we never give in to the Humanistic program of the State; Infidel to the core; no God, no Christ, no Bible. This is the Book. I'm not discouraged, but I'm brokenhearted. Anybody would be. ...You see if there's any tears flowing on their faces. You see, ask them if they prayed last night before coming.” SOURCE: Evangelist Lester Roloff, THEY STOOD, Part 4 of 4

Here's why the Communist State wanted Brother Roloff's homes shut down (Young people were coming to Jesus Christ, memorizing Scriptures, having their lives changed, having faith in God). The almighty State think they are God. The Supreme Court flaunts God's Laws, legalizing the murdering of precious babies in the womb. The United Nations is plotting to steal your children away.

“You see the State is making its bid for all the children. Parents don't own them anymore. The church doesn't own them anymore... That's just like Russia. The parents are just incubators to hatch out servants of the State, and soldiers of the State. And we're just about half-a-step away from being taken over completely; when they get our children, and then they get the liberty and freedom of the churches. Nobody but a Modernistic preacher would accept a license; because it's un-Constitutional, un-American, un-Scriptural.”

Pastor Lester Roloff (see heart-touching video, THEY STOOD!)

What right does the government have to bring criminal charges against parents, and to force them into financial ruin, and to make their lives difficult, and to emotionally traumatize the entire family, simply because the parents are protecting their children from the 250,000 people which DOCTORS KILL EVERY YEAR IN THE U.S.

The state has NO God-given right to force dangerous drugs upon children!  Hell will be hot, and God will severally judge the thugs in authority who abuse their power, force parents into bankruptcy, cause suicides and nervous breakdowns, and destroy families.

“There's something haywire in this country and we need to return to the Word of God and to Jesus.” Pastor Lester Roloff (video)
