until Back Again, was to be funny. Then back again, we started to

shall they hear without a preacher?" Did you read that? ... How shall
they hear without a preacher? Carefully notice that the Bible
doesn't say "singer." Rather, It says "preacher!"

of Rock, DISCIPLE lead singer Kevin Young stated...
"I do have a strong belief that there
is “power” in the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I really hope that our
lyrics point people to
the bible and at the very least make people curious to find out more

What a joke! First of all,
carefully notice that Mr. Young fails to state that he is personally
trusting Jesus Christ as his Savior. Throughout the Gospels, we see
that demons recognized the power of God. James 2:19 states, "Thou
believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe,
and tremble." Secondly, if Mr. Young is genuinely aware of the
power of the Gospel, then why DOESN'T he, or any of the other band members,
present the Gospel message on their website. In fact, I challenge you
to show me any mainstream Christian Rock artists that present the
Gospel (i.e., good news) of Jesus Christ on their website. You cannot.
What a bunch of SELL-OUTS!!!
The honest truth
is that Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) artists like DISCIPLE,
Mercy Me, KUTLESS, Amy Grant, Michael Smith, and
Kurt Carr are rock idols, just as is Michael Jackson. Kurt Carr admits
that the girls in the audience cry, go crazy, faint, etc. No doubt some
strip naked as well. This is one of the great evils of ALL music
entertainers--IDOLATRY! None of the Apostles were rock stars.
There's an idolatrous euphoria when some "star" is singing up on stage, and the
fans are all standing there with a beer in their hand praising the artist.
It's sickening. Most people have a corrupted concept of God these days.
Demonic Influences and
the Occult
DISCIPLE is of the Devil,
admitting that they produced much of their music while being crazy,
not really thinking, and failing to put any thought into their
music. This is exactly what demon-possessed entertainers like
Michael Jackson have admitted to.

STRYPER? For those of you who
don't know, STRYPER is a bunch of cross-dressing homosexuals...
Something is very wrong with a man who wants to
appear as a woman. The Bible condemns this abomination in Deuteronomy
22:5, "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man,
neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are
abomination unto the LORD thy God." Why would any professed
group of Christian men want to appear as homosexuals? In
addition, STRYPER's album covers are saturated with occult symbolism.
Jesus said
in John 15:19, "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but
because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,
therefore the world hateth you." The Word of God is our Final
Authority, not music. God says to separate from worldly believers.
The Bible tells us to divide over truth, rather than be united by error.
There's nothing in the Bible about winning people
to Christ through music. Romans 1:16 declares that it is the GOSPEL
which is the "power of God unto salvation." Tragically, Kurt Carr is so
busy singing his worldly music that he doesn't have time to preach the Gospel.
Jesus never sang the Gospel. None of the disciples were commissioned to
have a musical ministry. If there is to be any genuine unity within the
Body of Christ, then it must be Biblically based. The Word of God
teaches separation! Biblical separation is a foreign concept to
Contemporary Christian Music (CCM)...

as Sevendust, Stereomud, and Disturbed.

Mr. Young openly admits that he LIKES to
compare his music to the lost and sinful world. God forbid that any
CCM artists would follow in the footsteps of great musicians of the faith,

some theological issues. Devoting yourself to Jesus is NOT salvation.
Accepting Jesus is NOT salvation. What about your sin? It is
interesting to note that in all the newsmedia hype about the
Virginia Tech Killings, NOT one word has
been mentioned about SIN!!! Let's call crime what it is... SIN!
If the parents in this nation would get angry and demand that God be placed
back into our public schools, then there wouldn't be as much SIN. The

the hymn Amazing Grace with such hatred and intensity that you

doing. They are singing punk music! Don't you tell me that a

Gospel-spreading lyrics? That
surely a joke, right? Again, the Bible never speaks of the power of
singing; but rather, of the power of the Gospel (Romans 1:16). We read
in Titus 1:3, "...But hath in due times manifested his word through
preaching." God chose preaching to spread the Gospel, NOT music.
The reason why is obvious, because music is a major distraction from the
message. Now music has its appropriate place in the church; but
NOTHING can or should replace the PREACHING of the Gospel message!
This is clearly evidenced by the statement from Michael Jackson as quoted
earlier in this article... "It happens subliminally. IT'S THE MUSIC THAT COMPELS

A10). There is overwhelming evidence that Rock music itself is
demonic! The lyrics are irrelevant. Rock music is dangerous,
because it corrupts the morals and gaps a forbidden bridge between a young
Christian trying to please God, and the sinful world that seeks to corrupt
his or her character. Christian Rock equals a lack of Biblical
separation from the sinful world.
Would it be acceptable for a Christian man to
open an Adult-Christian Bookstore, which sold pornography AND
Christian books? No, it would be a horrible sin! Even if his
motives were sincere, and he wanted to reach lustful men for Christ, his
methods are nonetheless sinful. The exact same thing is true with
Christian Rock music. It is a sinful method which claims to lure kids
to Christ through worldly rock-n-roll music. Truthfully, those kids
are coming to ROCK MUSIC, and not to Jesus Christ. I guarantee
you that if I held a meeting, and gave away millions of dollars to the
crowd, asking them to accept Christ--nearly all of them would happily do so;
but they wouldn't be any more saved than Adolf Hitler (who
claimed to be a Christian by the way).
There is a damnable heresy going around the
nation, and the CCM gang has run with it; namely, that all a person has to
do to be saved is "accept Jesus." Nothing could be further from the
truth. There can be NO salvation without the
Law of God... "Now we
know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under
the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become
guilty before God." There is
no guilt in today's professed
believer, no conviction about sin, no mournful spirit over the sins of our
nation.
Millions of people are being lied to, brainwashed into
believing that they are going to Heaven simply because they prayed a
superstitious prayer. Listen my friend, you are a dirty, rotten
sinner, guilty, and under the condemnation of God's Law. Your sins
need to be dealt with, and you are totally incapable of saving yourself.
Fortunately, God in His love sent His only begotten Son into the world to
die for our sins (John 3:16), by the shedding of His blood (1st Peter
1:18-19), that we might be saved by faith alone in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Sadly, all across America people think
they are saved because they prayed a little prayer; but they don't think
they're sinful enough to deserve Hellfire. They have never come to
Jesus Christ as a repentant sinner; but rather, in their own
self-righteousness. To many folks, Christianity is nothing more than a
philosophy to be accepted. Please read,
You Didn't "Used to Be a Christian"
Still others claim to have faith in Jesus Christ, such as the reprobate
Martin Luther King Jr.; but
boldly deny the deity of Christ, i.e., the Biblical truth that Jesus is
Almighty God.
Martin Luther King Jr. is burning in Hell today, because
he rejected the virgin birth, the bodily resurrection, and the deity of the
Lord Jesus Christ. I am saddened as I witness to people, to find that
9-out-of-10 who profess to be "Christian" are not Christian at all. I
guarantee you that if I sat down with most of the alleged converts of
Christian Rock that they couldn't tell me Biblically what it means to be a
Christian.
