Is it Ok to Work at a Place that Sells Booze?
By David J. Stewart
It is tragic what alcohol has done to so many families... death, immorality, abuse. Alcohol is the Devil's favorite beverage. Oh, how America has been polluted with the vile lifestyle that alcohol promotes... a lifestyle of drunkenness, immorality, nudity, and wild partying.
Here are some words of wisdom from Evangelist John R. Rice, in response to the question:
Is it wrong to work in the kitchen of a place which sells alcohol even if I have nothing to do with the drinks directly? ...
"In my judgment, you are helping in a bad business. I would not be willing even to eat in a place where drinks are served, much less to work there. I believe if it is right for you to work there, it is right for people to eat there. If it is all right to eat there, then it is all right for people to run the place as it is run and to sell drinks. But that is obviously wrong. They ought not to sell drinks, and you ought not to make a living out of as place that sells drinks, and I ought not to eat there and give my O.K. and my endorsement to the place which is selling drinks."

Alcohol is a menace to any society. God never intended for His children to dull their minds with booze, surrendering their ability to think clearly, and making themselves vulnerable to demonic influence. It is immoral to drive a beer truck. It is immoral to work for a beer company, a night club, or a restaurant lounge that sells booze. Argue as one may, wherever you find booze in this world, you will also find every sin imaginable.
The above picture speaks 1,000 words. The beer industry hypocritically tells teens not to drink alcohol until they are 21, while those same companies saturate American culture with booze, booze, booze! Consequently, underaged drinking is an epidemic problem in America!
