Sun Hui East—False Prophet!
By David J. Stewart
Sun Hui East pastor's the First Love Church in Aurora, Colorado. In reality, this is a demonic cult. As you will learn, Sun Hui East is a false prophet who claims that God has given her private revelations, similar to cult leader Ellen G. White of the Seventh Day Adventists.
The Bible forbids women from usurping authority over men, period. There are no exceptions. This is the will of God. 1st Timothy 2:12, "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." Sun Hui East, originally from South Korea, claims that Jesus bodily appeared to her in her bedroom and handed her a Bible, commanding her to go preach. This is a bizarre claim as much as it is unbiblical.
Then Sun Hui East claimed that 10-years later that she was shocked when God told her to become a pastor. She admits that she knew it was wrong for women to enter the pastorate, but did it anyway, claiming that God told her to go against His holy Word. May I say, God never tells anyone to disobey His Word. Sun Hui East is a liar according to the Bible.
Here are Sun Hui East's own heretical words . . .
At the age of 25, Jesus came to me. I had never seen Jesus, but when I saw Him I knew He was Jesus. He came into my bedroom. He had a beautiful smile. He handed me a bible and told me to go and preach. He also showed me what church I needed to go. He gave me an address and disappeared. After then, from time to time, Jesus would visit me and teach me the Word of God and help me to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit became everything in my life. The Holy Spirit was so tender, sweet, gentle, loving and peaceful. Sometimes He would come as fire and let me hear songs from heaven.
One morning at 4 a.m. I heard the voice of God, saying, "Sun become a pastor." His audible voice spoke over and over again. I was shocked! I woke up my husband and said, "God said I need to be a pastor!" He was deeply asleep. "We always spoke against women pastors. I didn't know that women could be pastors. Then he said in his sleep, "Be obedient to God." At the Age of 35, I became the pastor of Antioch Church.SOURCE: Pastor Sun Warren testimony | http://www.greatestrevival.com
Hebrews 1:1-2 plainly teach that God speaks to us in these last days through His Son, i.e., through the Word of God (John 5:39). Anyone who claims that Jesus has appeared to them personally is a big liar. Jesus commanded for us to search the Scriptures, which testify of Him (John 5:39).
I met Sun Hui East's assistant pastor, Tom Stroup, in 2010, who introduced me to their heretical cult. While speaking with him, I realized quickly that he was indoctrinated into a religious cult led by a Korean woman who claims to see visions. He also tried to convince me that salvation can be lost and that no believer is secure in their salvation. Isn't that sad? He plainly said that a believer who willfully sins will lose salvation. Of course, that is horrible false doctrine.
The Bible is clear concerning the eternal security of the believer (Romans 4:5-6). God does not disown His children when they sin, He chastises them (Hebrews 12:6-8). I felt sorry for Tom, that he has been misled by Satan, following a cult leader who falsely claims to receive revelations from God. Tom has churchianity without Christianity.
Those who believe that salvation can be lost have a self-righteous mindset, believing that they must maintain a certain type of lifestyle to keep salvation. It is an insult to God for anyone to say that God takes salvation away, which He has unconditionally promised to "WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord" (Romans 10:13).
Those who claim to receive private revelations from God are of the Devil. The Bible is our only Final Authority. Sun Hui East is a cult leader, misleading people to recognize her as some type of prophetess who receives revelations from God. According to Sun Hui East, North Korea will be used by God to attack and judge America. She also says that it was God's will for the U.S. to invade and conquer Iraq. That is simply not true.
The war against Iraq was based upon false witness, lies, greed, stealing Iraq's oil, covetousness and killing over one million innocent people. Would God approve of breaking so many of the Ten Commandments to invade Iraq? No, no, no! God never tempts men to do evil (James 1:13). God does not approve of needless war, killing the innocent, nor stealing from our neighbors.
The ministry's website is deceitful. As with many demonic cults today, they give the initial appearance of being Christians by offering a vague statement of faith. What they DON'T readily tell you is that they also believe in unbiblical speaking in tongues, that salvation can be lost and that Sun Hui East has made numerous bizarre public claims of revelations from God. Although Stroup claimed to be non-denominational, it is evident that they are caught up in the Charismatic Movement to a large degree, known for the jibber-jabber of speaking in tongues, faith healing, losing salvation and seeing alleged visions from God.
Here is another bizarre claim from their ministry's website . . .
God’s desire is to revive our land and souls with latter day rain. First He will bring the heart of worship back to our land.
First Love Christian Church had been praying eight years for heaven’s floodgates to open. In June 2004, they did. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit hovered over me. I heard the sound of many waters and angels singing. He revealed the mysteries of heaven and His Holy Spirit. Over 200 songs and books have come forth.
Through heavenly worship, many lives have been changed.
Pastor Sun Hui WarrenAgain, Pastor Sun Hui is a liar according the the Bible. We read plainly in 2nd Peter 1:20, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." Despite her claims of divine revelations from God, the Bible tells us that there are NO private interpretations. God speaks to everyone through the Scriptures, which is why Jesus commanded for us to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES in John 5:39. Just as cult leader Ellen G. White of the Seventh-Day Adventists, so also is Sun Hui Warren of the First Love Church and Healing Center a false prophet.
Just as false prophetess Ellen G. White, Sun Hui Warren also claims to have received revelations of "the mysteries of heaven and the Holy Spirit" from God. She is a heretic and of the Devil. Not only is Sun Hui Warren (East) in violation of the Scriptures as a woman pastor, but also for falsely claiming to have received revelations from God. To no surprise, Sun Hui Warren has dozens of books for sale, songs for sale and seminars for sale. It is pathetic.
It is our duty as believers to rise up against the evildoers (Psalm 94:16), to mark them which cause divisions contrary to the Word of God (Romans 16:17) and to refute all works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Satan is working relentlessly in these last days to corrupt the Church. Cults have sprouted up everywhere. Those who are woefully ignorant of the Word have fallen hook, line and sinker into numerous dangerous cults like the First Love Church.
Certainly, they are not a Biblical New Testament Church. Any cult can apply to become a 501c3 state-licensed organization, which is exactly what the Church of Satan is. The term "church" means nothing these days. Sun Hui East is a false prophet, a false cult leader and an enemy of the Lord Jesus Christ. A host of religious cults today exploit the name of Jesus horribly to make a buck.
As difficult as it is for many people to grasp, many heretical cults today are exploiting the gospel of Jesus Christ to make money. It is sad that the average person only looks at the external workings of a cult, instead of shining the Light of God's Word upon it. On the outside, a false religion may look legitimate because of the poor they help or the ministries they run. But that is not sufficient evidence that they are of God. Red Cross and United Way are heathen organizations that help the unfortunate. We must consider the core teachings and shine the Light of God's Word upon a group to know whether they are of God or Satan.
Most cults will direct you to their doctored statement of faith, which is a front for the lies they propagate to their followers. The fact that Sun Hui East claims to have received special revelations of the mysteries of heaven and the Holy Spirit is alarming!!! This is clear evidence why God forbade women from entering the pulpit as pastors, i.e., because they are prone to false doctrine, cultic activity and blasphemy against God. If you were to remove every woman from the Charismatic Movement, it would vanish overnight. None of Jesus' Apostles were women.
God the Father does NOT call women to go against His Word to enter the pulpit. All women pastors are false prophets and disobedient to the holy Scriptures. A woman's place is in the home (1st Timothy 5:14-15). According to 1st Timothy 5:15, Sun Hui East is turned aside after Satan for becoming a pastor. And may I add, a self made pastor. God NEVER calls a woman to usurp authority over men in the Church.
Many demonic cults exploit the gospel to make money. This is what Sun Hui Warren is doing. Her ministry's statement of faith is a fallacious front for a demonic cult. She claims to have received private revelations concerning the mysteries of heaven and the Holy Spirit. The Bible calls her a liar. Those who claim to have received visions and revelations are cult leaders.
