Joel
Osteen is arguably the most likeable and favorite preacher in the world.
Unfortunately, that's for a very bad reason; namely, because he is also one
of the most apostate, unbiblical and compromised preachers. The most
dangerous thing about Joel Osteen is what HE DOESN'T PREACH! Osteen is an
incredible motivational speaker. You could just sit and look at his smile
and be encouraged. People fly from around the world just to sit in front of
that big Cheshire Cat smile that Osteen has.
Like Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, when Osteen enters a room, the whole
place lights up from his wonderful smile. Unfortunately, smiles don't get
anybody into Heaven. Smiles make friends, but truth offends! The angry
public tried to murder the apostles, including Paul, Peter and Barnabas.
They Jews killed Stephen and Herod killed James in the book of Acts. Herod
was also planning to kill Peter, but the angel of the Lord rescued him in
response to the prayers of the church in Acts chapter 12. Prayer works, one
way or another, prayer works!
Joel Osteen Has A Form Of Godliness, But No Gospel Power
The Bible proclaims in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Clearly, as you just read, it is THE GOSPEL that is THE POWER of God unto salvation to them that believe. Joel Osteen DOESN'T preach the gospel. You won't find the gospel mentioned in Osteen's books. The gospel is defined in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 as the DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ. You cannot be saved if you deny the miraculous resurrection of Jesus FROM THE DEAD. Nearly everyone believes that a man named Jesus once lived and died; but VERY FEW people acknowledge their faith that Christ was miraculously BORN OF A VIRGIN and again miraculously ROSE FROM THE DEAD after three days in a tomb. Jesus had NO earthly biological father, which is absolutely impossible apart from a divine miracle by God the Father.
Likewise, no human being, after being dead for three days, could ever come back to life apart from a divine miracle from Heaven. Literally, salvation rests upon one's faith in a miracle working God concerning our precious Lord Jesus Christ. Do you believe in the virgin birth of Christ? Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Who came into the world as the Messiah to save all men from their sins? Do you believe that Christ died, was buried and miraculously rose from the dead three days later? I certainly do as a born-again Christian. I hope you have also been born-again by the Spirit of God, by faith in the gospel message. This is the POWER of God UNTO SALVATION. Acts 4:10-12 says that there is no other way to be saved other than through faith in the name of Jesus Christ.
I don't care how big, successful or caring your charitable organization or ministry may be, it's all worthless and in vain if the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is not the central and primary focus of all that you do!!! What good is it to feed a human being here on earth, if their soul and body will burn in the Lake of Fire forever? I am sick and tired of hearing about all the so-called wonderful ministries in America that are totally devoid of gospel preaching. I'm sick and tired of so-called ministries like Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas that boast of all their accomplishments; yet the gospel is no where to be found, buried at best under some occasional mumble or slight of the mouth. Even worse, Osteen's plan of salvation is corrupt.
I like Joel Osteen, who wouldn't? You'd have to live on a distant planet not to like Joel Osteen. The guy is incredibly likeable, agreeable and flattering. I truly believe that Joel sincerely means well, choosing to remain 100% upbeat and positive in a very negative, critical and hateful world. Some people are just negative, critical and down on everything and everyone. However, to be equally upbeat and positive is just as wrong and damaging if the truth is not preached. Roman Catholicism is leading over a billion people into Hell, but you'll never hear that from Joel Osteen. Part of telling the truth is exposing the lies. Did you hear that? Part of telling the truth is exposing the lies! The Bible doesn't just tell us the truth, but it also exposes the lies!
Take for example, 1st John 2:22, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.” Boy, isn't that negative? The Bible is so negative! God calls Judaizers and Muslims LIARS!!! Both of those religious groups deny that Jesus is the Messiah Who died on the cross for man's sins. Most people these days take offense when a Christian calls Roman Catholicism “a demonic religious cult from Hell,” but it's the 100% Biblical truth. I was once preaching and made the statement, “The pope is a dope and has no hope,” to which a man got up and walked out. See ya!
But you say, you offended that man and now he may go to Hell because of you. No, I gave him the truth. If the truth about Roman Catholicism offends him, then so be it. Let me tell you something... If you will only come to a Christ who accepts the homosexual lifestyle as legitimate, and accepts Roman Catholicism as a valid faith, and thinks that a woman has a right to choose death for her baby... then you are really coming to a satanic Christ, not Jesus Christ!!! Truly, the Lord Jesus Christ will receive anybody who comes to Him as a confessed sinner, but if you refuse to come to Christ because the Bible calls homosexuality a dirty, filthy, rotten sin, then you are the one running from the truth. John 3:20 says that evildoers refuse to come to the light, lest their deeds should be reproved.
Many religious people are allegedly coming to Christ these days, but it's only a superficial profession of a dead faith and not being genuinely born-again by the Spirit of God. Many homosexuals are joining apostate churches, where sin is not mentioned and homosexuals are praised as wonderful people in God's eyes. Such demonic shenanigans is of the Devil. I am not saying that a person must stop committing homosexuality to be saved. I am saying that you cannot be saved until you admit that homosexuality is a sin and you come to God on the basis that YOU are a dirty, rotten, sinner (just like me) and need the saving grace of God, by faith in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can wash away one's sins (1st Peter 1:18-19).
Joel Osteen's books are all
written with the assumption that everybody is a Christian. All of his books
assume that the reader is already saved. This is a very dangerous precedent.
How can a person be saved unless they first realize that they are lost?
Homosexuals who refuse to acknowledge the awful sinfulness of homosexuality
have not yet realized there lost condition. Jesus said that He came to save
the sick, not they that are whole and have no need of a physician.
Osteen's Books Are The Best Of The Worst
Joel Osteen's books are uplifting, positive and encouraging without question. I bought a couple of Osteen's books several months ago. One book in particular, “Your Best Like Now” is a brilliant work of modern literature in my humble opinion. It's a small condensed-sized book with padded covers and a nice book marker included. Each page is dated for daily devotions throughout the year. It's cozy to carry around, so I keep it in my car and read it frequently. I admit that Joel's words are incredibly applicable to many of the hardships, burdens and setbacks which I have endured in my life. It's like the book was written for just me. I'm sure many readers feel the same way, which is why Osteen's books are so popular and have made over a billion dollars in profits.
It's a sad joke to hear Joel boasting that he never takes a church salary. The truth is that Joel Osteen makes 10,000 times what the average minister makes on the sale of his books. The New World Order gang loves Osteen because he is wishy-washy, liberal and doesn't take a stand against anything from the pulpit. The Bible warns about FALSE PROPHETS that are overly popular with the public...
Luke 6:26, “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.”
Joel's book always seem to say just the right thing to the reader, just like one's daily horoscope reading. The Bible teaches that the way to heaven is very narrow (Matthew 7:13-14). The world hates the narrow way. The unsaved world hates the Lord Jesus and all faithful Christians (John 15:19) that live godly in Christ Jesus (2nd Timothy 3:12). The way of salvation is very narrow. How narrow? Well, the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 14:6). It's Jesus or Hell. Joel Osteen falsely teaches that there are many ways to Jesus. That's demonic doctrine. THE GOSPEL is the ONLY way to Jesus! Christ died, was buried and rose up after three days from the dead. It was a miracle of God. This is the good news of the gospel.
Joel Osteen is a horrible false
prophet who places his love for money above his love for truth, evidenced by
his choice to teach false doctrines rather than stand uncompromisingly for
the truths of God's holy and unchanging Word. God never changes (Malachi
3:6). Humans change from one generation to another, but God never changes
and neither does His precious Word. May we all SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES
as Jesus commanded in John 5:39. The Bible is offensive because it speaks
the truth. God meant for His Word to offend the wicked. Joel Osteen caters
to the wicked, tickling their ears and scratching their backs. That's why so
many people speak highly of him. Joel Osteen may be a really nice guy, but
so is the Devil. Eve fell for the serpent's charm.
Osteen Supports Wicked Hannah Montana And Walt Disney
The evil Walt Disney corporation promotes Joel Osteen on their Family cable channel? Disney still promotes their annual Gay Day. The Lakewood church has hired former Disney employees to work with their member's children. Disney is of the Devil, targeting teens with their nightclub lifestyle of Rock music, sensual dress, fornication and rebellion against parents. What is America becoming?
In a 2007 article titled, “Joel Osteen Counts His Blessings” in People magazine, it states:
It doesn't take much to make Joel Osteen cry. Talk to him about his deceased father, and Osteen, the pastor of America's largest church, is likely to tear up. Or tell him you were picked on as a kid. Or just ask him about the Hannah Montana tickets he scored for his daughter's birthday. Standing outside his Houston megachurch on a recent Sunday, with a white stretch Hummer waiting to whisk his family to the sold-out Disney show, Osteen blinks back tears like the luckiest man in the world. "It's just such a blessing," he says.

What kind of preacher support's Walt Disney? Joel Osteen gives Hannah Montana tickets to his daughter!!! Hannah Montana is a trashy whore! Miley Cyrus is a disgrace to America and only a wicked parent would support such an evil influence. Did you read what the preceding quote said about Joel whisking his family to a sold-out Walt Disney show? Disney promotes the homosexual agenda!!! Osteen's 70,000 church members and tens-of-millions of fans are going to support Hannah Montana too. Joel Osteen is no man of God. We're not talking about a mistake; but rather, an apostate preacher who will say anything to rake in the money. Woe unto the religious wicked!
