Darwin Fish and

EXPOSED!
by David J. Stewart
Who is "Darwin Fish"? He is a heretic! "DARWIN FISH" is his real name. He has nothing to do with those little "Darwin fish" symbols that atheists and humanists like to put on their cars. Mr. Fish is the author of the website at www.atruechurch.info. He is a real person who has started a dangerous cult that is no joke. Darwin Fish has labeled many genuine men of God, such as J. Vernon McGee and Paul Chappell, as "false teachers" and publishes thunderous verbal attack against them. Although Darwin Fish is a relatively "small fish" in the world of cyberspace, he is still a voice for Satan that is causing division, confusion, and strife.
Lets' see how this fish (i.e., Mr.. Fish) measures up and whether we should keep him or throw him back into the water...
Some Christians Choose to Live in Sin (and are still saved)
Mr. Fish makes the following statement on his website:
...it is lewd and foolish to teach that a person can be saved from the power of sin and Satan, yet still be caught in the trap of sin and Satan. The power of godliness is the power resident in a true believer's life to overcome sin, deceit, and Satan. "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world" (1 John 5:4), and "the wicked one does not touch him." (1 John 5:18).
We need look no further than 1st Corinthians 5:5-5 to learn that Mr. Fish doesn't measure up. A man in the church had been committing fornication, and the sin was allowed to continue without reprimand. The Apostle Paul instructs the church to confront the man, and if need be, put him out of the church. But notice the precious words at the end of 1st Corinthians 5:5...
"To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."
According to Darwin Fish, a believer cannot "be caught in trap of sin and Satan." The FACT is that many believers are caught in the trap of sin and Satan. Even though some believers today choose to remain in a lifestyle of sin, and Satan has control over their life because of sin, according to 1st Corinthians 5:5... their "spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." Like it or not you self-righteous hypocrites... Heaven is going to be filled with murders, prostitutes, liars, and other vile sinners.
In 1st Corinthians 3:14,15 we read about the Judgment Seat of Christ, when every believer will be judged...
"If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."
There are going to be saved people in Heaven with NO REWARDS, because they were choked by the cares and riches of their earthly life, and won no souls to the Lord (Luke 8:14).
I am not condoning believers who live in sin. Certainly, the Word of God commands all believers to live a holy life (1st Peter 1:15,16). 2nd Corinthians 5:10,11 warn that all believers will stand trial before God...
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men..."
God will judge those believers who choose to live in sin, and they will give account (as we all will) to God (Romans 14:12). However, we must never confuse the FRUIT of genuine repentance with the ROOT of the believer's faith. A holy life is NOT a part of saving-faith; but rather, should be the result of it. Some of the mightiest Christians in the Bible commit horrible sins, sometimes over a period of time (such as when king David killed Uriah and lived in adultery with Bathsheba for nearly a year before being confronted by Nathan the prophet). Peter cursed and denied Jesus Christ, successfully convincing a group of God-hating unbelievers that he was no Christian.
The fact of the matter, Biblically, is that some believers do choose to live in sin, even though they know they shouldn't.
Darwin Fish Perverts the Meaning of Hebrews 12:14
Was Abraham's faith the sanctifying work of God? Yes! Salvation is "through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:13). If Abraham "believed in the Lord," he was saved (John 3:18; 8:56). If Abraham was declared righteous, he was saved (Matthew 13:43; 25:46). If Abraham was not sanctified at this point, which means being set apart, made holy, he was not saved; because without holiness no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
Hebrews 12:14 states:
"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."
Mr. Fish wrongly interprets this Scripture as pertaining to one's salvation—but it does not! It is important that always read the surrounding Bible verses when interpreting the meaning of any particular Scripture, lest we foolishly take the Bible out of context and teach false doctrine. Notice what Hebrews 12:15 says:
"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled."
This Scripture is a quote from Deuteronomy 29:18...
"Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood."
The true meaning of Hebrews 12:14; therefore is, that believers who live in sin will cause unsaved people not to get saved. "...one sinner destroyeth much good" (Ecclesiastes 9:18). John MacArthur teaches the same heresy as Darwin Fish concerning Hebrews 12:14. Believers who live in sin and shame the name of Jesus are compared to a poisonous root that corrupts everyone around them. Sadly, many families have been destroyed by sin. Jesus warned us in John 10:10 that Satan is a thug whose sole intent is to kill, steal, and destroy. Tragically, false prophets like Darwin Fish and John MacArthur want to kill, steal, and destroy your faith in the simplicity of God's free gift of salvation.
Darwin Fish Claims He Knows of No Pastor Who is "in the Truth" Other Than Himself
Mr. Fish is correct, because he has started a unique demonic cult based upon his own crazy beliefs.
No, I do not believe I am the only one on the planet who knows the truth (Jeremiah 35:19; Romans 11:5). God has his own, however many or few, wherever He may have them (e.g. 1 Kings 19:10, 18). Yet, I do not know, as of this date, any other pastor that is in the truth. Nor have I seen any in history other than those recorded in Scripture.
Thank God that no others teach the same damnable heresies as Darwin Fish.
Darwin Fish Teaches the Same Lordship Salvation Heresy as Other Modernists
Despite the unique workings of Darwin's false religion, he teaches the same Lordship Salvation lies as other apostates today. Mr. Fish states:
Sad to say, many teach that a believer can actually live a sinful unrepentant life, and still enter the kingdom of God. This is a lie (1 Corinthians 6:9).
No, you are the liar Mr. Fish. Romans 4:5 states... "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." A sinner's faith is "counted" for (or equivalent to) righteousness. Salvation is receiving; NOT giving. Eternal life is freely given. Revelation 21:6 says: "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." Don't be fooled by the thousands of false prophets today, who profess salvation is the free gift of God while simultaneously telling you that you must live a holy life to get to Heaven. What a contradiction! Salvation is either by law or grace. It cannot be both. Ephesians 2:8,9 and Titus 3:5 plainly teach that salvation is without personal self-righteousness.
Darwin Fish Teaches Works Salvation!
Again, Mr. Fish states:
Therefore, in order to be saved, you must live for Christ and you must not live for yourself, and you must obey the truth (Romans 2:8; John 14:6).
Clearly, Darwin Fish is of the Devil. He teaches a works-based salvation which requires a person to "live for Christ" and "you must not live for yourself." That is NOT what the Word of God teaches. Titus 3:5 proclaims... "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." The idea that a person's salvation is CONDITIONAL upon one's personal surrender to holy living and willingness to stop sinning is pure self-righteousness! Satan loves Lordship Salvation, because it damns men's souls to Hellfire. Oh, the wickedness of our generation, and nothing is so wicked as the lie that a sinner must clean up his life to be saved. Salvation is "to him that worketh not" (Romans 4:5).
The only "work" required for salvation is found in John 6:29...
"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." —John 6:29
