Copeland Denies the Deity of Jesus Christ!
Election Deception! Copeland's false prophecy
AMERICA was swept into a new
beginning by Kenneth Copeland a few years ago! Did you know that? He spoke
in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 18, 1996 at a Word of life Church service.
Copeland and the Word of Life Church of Honolulu claimed to bind Satan and set
America free on a wonderful new course.
CONFUSION ABOUT SCRIPTURE! = Copeland
quoted, "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall AGREE on earth as
touching any thing that they shall ask, IT SHALL BE DONE for them of my Father
which is in heaven. For where TWO OR THREE are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them." Matt. 18:19-20.
True to the speakers style, he
misrepresented Gods promises! Copeland swept Scripture from its original
meaning and extended it for his own fantastic claims. Now two years later,
either God failed or the preacher's great swelling words embellished God's
Word! You decide.
DECEPTION ABOUT THE FUTURE! =Then he
announced, "We are going to agree together tonight that God's will will be
carried out. And that whosoever is elected as president of the United
States and whomsoever is elected in the congress of the United States, WILL
HEAR AND OBEY THE VOICE OF GOD ALMIGHTY FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS IN THIS
NATION." (remember his theology is there is no such thing as praying God
will, what we say in faith we will possess)
The Word-Faith crowd reeled in elation! Mayhem broke out! What they speak will
come to pass. Really! Time will reveal a false prophecy. Has the White House
truly listened and responded to the will of God? Like excited children, the
charismatic crowd believed this false teaching, cheering in agreement and
clapping in expectancy. Sincere but gullible believers, were put under the
impression that American leaders would be righteous today!
Copeland then prayed, "And for the next four years, we fully PLAN TO BE LED OF THE HOLY GHOST IN THIS NATION! And we ask You to see to it that whomever is PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDENT, whomever's in the congress, will hear the voice of the living God and carry it out! And if there is ANYONE IN OFFICE that refuses to do that, we're asking You Lord as a congregation of people, and WE AGREE THAT YOU WILL DO IT, that You'll GET 'EM OUT OF OFFICE and put somebody in there that will! In the name of Jesus. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!"
You can say praise the Lord all day,
but lets look at the election results, where are we today?
Is this Biblical Christianity or just more foolish hype, name it and frame it,
blab and grab words? Is he a prophet who praises the Lord while
misrepresenting His name! The Lord had nothing to do with this one. Or maybe
they didn't have enough faith to see it through.
Is there an unusual righteousness in America's leadership now? America is
currently rocked by severe immorality, abortion, and deceit in Washington,
D.C.! So is our country, where's the revival that Copeland and others have
promised. the only people that seem to get affected are the Christians. While
the blind lead the blind outside the church there is little difference inside
either!
Feel the power. The Word-Faith crowd agreed that they bound Satan! Copeland
said, "WE BIND YOU SATAN in the name of Jesus. This nation doesn't belong to
you, it never has and never will. In the name of Jesus, YOU COME DOWN from
your place of authority and you crawl in the dust like God told you to in the
Garden of Eden. In Jesus name! NOW AGREE with that and say Amen!
Hallelujah. Glory to God. Glory to God." Imagine a charismatic congregation
reducing the devil to a helpless prisoner! If Satan is bound day after day
whose the joker that keeps letting him loose?
It's easy to agree and let the gravity of a false prophecy bring you down! We
are not instructed to talk to the devil or brag about binding Satan! We are
dependent upon the Lord to rebuke him! Jude 9.Where's this authority they
boast about? It didn't work !
This is not surprising since he has said many things before that are a clear
contradiction to the bible and Jesus.
Copeland prophesied, As Jesus is speaking through him at three day victory camp in Dallas, Texas.
"Don't be disturbed when people accuse you of thinking you're God. Don't be disturbed when people accuse you of a fanatical way of life. Don't be disturbed when people put you down and speak harshly and roughly of you. They spoke that way of me, should they not speak that way of you?
The more you get to be like me, the more they're going to think that way of you. They crucified me for claiming I was God. But I didn't claim I was God; I just claimed I walked with him and he was in me." Hallelujah. that's what your doing. (printed in Voice of Victory vol.15.no.2 1987)
Here is a conversation with Paul Crouch on TBN, after the fall out on this very subject of Copeland's prophecy. {Crouch} "Were still questioning what was said about that prophecy, {Copeland}" that prophecy never mentions the son of God, it never said anything about the son of God "Crouch what did it say ?" it said I did not claim to be God!" that’s all it said." {Crouch }"In other words in so many words your right nowhere in the NT did he literally get up and, (Copeland interjects "preach and say I am God ") say I AM God did he. Now I stand corrected."
