There's Always Room for Another Voice To Tell the Truth

By David J. Stewart | January 2018

John 8:32, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Anyone who is familiar with the internet and YouTube, knows the power that one voice can make. YouTube is a great tool for expressing one's views, theology, music, culinary skills or cultural arts. And it is free to use. YouTube is a blessing and a curse at the same time. Like everything else in life, the internet is a double-edged sword. There is much heresy being taught via YouTube, but there is also much truth being taught. I don't like expressing my views in blogs for one main reason, that is, the articles are stored in what is known as the “deep web,” and don't appear in the major search engines, like Google. If you publish your own personal website, then your writings will appear in the search engines. And if you do have a personal website, make sure to submit it to the search engines.

If you have an interest in doing something for God, I encourage you to become a fellowhelper to THE TRUTH. Why not become a truth-teller? III John 1:8, “We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.” Sad to say, most pastors nowadays are a hindrance to the truth, trying to silence people like me from telling the truth about the corrupt Alexandrian Bible versions. I don't get along too well with many pastors, because they try to silence me from exposing the Devil's counterfeit Bible versions. One Baptist pastor admitted to me that the Alexandrian Bible versions are corrupt, but insisted that there was no need to go into detail of what is wrong with them, so he told me to be quiet about it at church. Needless to say, I told him he ought to be ashamed of himself and I never returned. What a wuss!

A “Voice” is the Only Way to Turn Many to Righteousness

I was thinking today about Daniel 12:3, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” What a beautiful promise from God. I don't know about you, but with all the sad things and sorrows of this life, I want to be as happy as possible in the next life, in eternity. That means I must turn many to righteousness. What exactly does that means? How do you “turn someone to righteousness”? Why, there can only be one biblical answer, which we find in Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.” We “turn someone to righteousness” by leading them to Christ to be born-again, which can only happen if we tell them about the imputed righteousness of God. Whether by use of the printed truth, or verbal truth, the only way we can lead people to faith in Jesus Christ is by voicing the Gospel.

Will you be a voice for God? In these amazing times of modern technology, a person can reach across the world for Christ in the privacy of their home. You don't even have to step outside your door to speak across the whole world! Certainly, the internet can only reach a limited group of people who surf the web, but it is a fantastic way to preach the Gospel, and a very needy area today. Get this!—I just read today at Time.com that 3 BILLION people are now using the internet. Wow! Folks, that is nearly have the planet! My Jesus-is-Savior.com website ministry alone receives 25,000 visitors per day. Last month, in December of 2017, there were 15,917 web visitors who spent at least one hour browsing my website. I am a VOICE for the Lord. To God be the glory, great things He hath done. Without Jesus I can do nothing (John 15:5). I give God ALL the credit, praise and glory!!! Thank you Lord Jesus! I am just the clay, God is the Potter. If anything great has ever been achieved through my humble and diligent online labors, it is God's Holy Spirit working through me to preach THE TRUTH. Amen and amen!

We are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ, Who died on the cross for the sins of all humanity. Jesus didn't, as Calvinists errantly claim, only die for the saints. I have always marveled at the intellectual ignorance and sinful pride of religious men, who blatantly go against the clear teachings of the Word of God. 1st John 2:2, “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” Jesus didn't just die for our sins as believers, “BUT ALSO,” for the sins of the “WHOLE WORLD.” God the Father placed our sins upon His only begotten Son on the cross. Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt we cannot pay. Therefore, forgiveness of sins is a “free gift” (Romans 5:15). In fact, you don't have to “ask” God to save you. Since forgiveness of sins is a “gift,” you simply need to receive it by faith, that is, by placing your trust in the record God has given us in His Word. The moment that we place our confidence in Christ as our Savior, God credits Jesus' righteousness to us.

Many Baptist Churches Have Gone the Way of Hollywood

Many Christians in hindsight are fully aware of Satan's tactics to corrupt society through ever-changing Hollywood. Every year Hollywood pushes the limit on morality a little lower—a little more nudity, a little more adultery, a little more smut and filth, a little more ungodliness. Consequently, as the decades have passed, and now a full century, American society has been completely desensitized to the awfulness of sin. Adultery is acceptable today, not frowned upon as it should be. This is why fewer men are wanting to get married. Many women are willing to have premarital sex and don't care about virtue or chastity anymore. Men blame women and women blame men. Truthfully, our culture has deteriorated as whole, rotten from the rock bottom to the very top. Wickedness is everywhere, almost as it was in the days of Noah before the flood (Matthew 24:37-39). We are just about there!

Likewise, just as Hollywood has redefined the moral standard for each succeeding generation, so has the Devil published a new Bible version each year for the past century, so that we literally have hundreds of English Bible versions to choose from today. It is unthinkable and utter wickedness! Folks, God only authored ONE BOOK!!! Commonsense and spiritual discernment tells us that it is NOT okay to choose between dozens of English Bible versions. Bob Jones University (BJU) has the ungodly attitude that everyone should be allowed to use whatever Bible they want, and we should just get along in sweet harmony and not make a fuss over the Bible, lest we cause schisms in the Body of Christ! What a load of bull dung! Folks, I agree with Dr. Bob Gray Sr. who said we were a lot better off when we were regularly having church splits. You can hear Pastor Gray Sr. say this in his awesome MP3 sermon, “How A Fundamentalist Becomes A Liberal.”

Tragically, most churches have become accustomed to heresy. Dr. Jack Hyles was right when he said, “Heresy is creeping into our fundamental churches by the hour!” One of the most practical MP3 sermons by Dr. Hyles is titled, “FUNDAMENTALIST HERESY!” Also, here is an article I wrote titled, “The Kind Of Preaching We Need!” Very few pastors are preachers today! We need a whole new breed of preachers in this country!!! There is a fine line between being ethical toward those with whom we disagree verses sinfully compromising by bidding them Godspeed. No pastor of a New Testament church should extend goodwill toward Jehovah's Witnesses or Roman Catholics, nor other Baptists who teach the heresy of Calvinism, promote Dr. John MacArthur (whom is a 5-point Calvinist) or embrace and promote the Devil's corrupt Alexandrian Bible versions!!! This is a major problem in our churches today. Any pastor who is complicit toward fellow Baptists who teach “turning from sinful behavior” to be saved is an accomplice to damnable heresy!

Many Baptist churches have gone into a state of indifference, having slowly changed over the years just like Holywood, so that Bob Jones University (and thousands of churches influenced by like-minded apostate Bible colleges), now embrace, use and promote the Devil's counterfeit Bible versions!!! Am I wrong as a Christian preacher to expose sinful compromise? Am I wrong to speak out against the Devil's Bible revisions and those shameful pastors who promote them? Am I wrong to call out by name those who are pulling on the same rope as the Devil? I think not. ...

Titus 1:10-13, “For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.”

The preceding Scripture sounds harsh. The average Baptist pastor reads this passage and thinks about Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons, but my dear friend, it applies just as much to Calvinists and their Galatianism!!! The cult of Galatia taught partial faith in Christ plus works (Galatians 3:1-7). Abraham was saved solely by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law. I am sick and tired of shameful Baptist pastors (and the shallow Christians who follow them), who teach (as do evangelists' Paul Washer and Ray Comfort) that a person must turn away from committing sins to be saved. This is not the Gospel of free grace! How can anything be a gift if something is required to have it? The Bible says eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10). It is a serious matter. Mr. Comfort is so nonchalant and likeable in his persona that many preachers fall for his false gospel of works plus faith. Turning from sin is a work. We don't turn from sins AND believe the Gospel; but rather, we turn TO the Gospel from our sins. The former requires two steps, the latter only one. Hopefully you see the major difference.

Ray Comfort Gets The Law Right But The Gospel Wrong. In the preceding video, Mr. Comfort teaches a woman that repentance is ongoing, which makes getting saved a process. Kindly, Mr. Comfort fails to understand the truth that it is the Holy Spirit Who changes a person and not self-reformation (which he mistakes for repentance). Biblically, repentance is “a change of mind,” to turn away from wrong thinking to believing the Gospel. Repentance includes admitting that one is a guilty sinner in the sight of a holy God (Romans 3:19), but it DOESN'T include a desire or commitment to turn away from sinful behavior, which would constitute works for salvation.

I Am a Voice!

One of my favorite MP3 sermons by Dr. Jack Hyles is titled, “I Am A Voice!” Sadly, my biggest enemies aren't homosexuals, witches and abortionists, they're shallow Baptist pastors who are serving mammon instead of God, who are going along to get along with Calvinism and the Devil's counterfeit Bible versions! Go figure! I love preachers, but “I am set for the defence of the Gospel.” One pastor in jealousy told me that I am not an apostle. What a silly thing to say. I am a Gospel preacher! I was born-again at age 13 and called by God to preach the truth before I was born, and that is what I am doing. If that makes me seem like an apostle, because I speak with authority as a man of God ought to do (because the King James Bible speaks with authority), then call me what you will.

I am a bit flattered that he thought I was an apostle. I am honored that anyone would liken me to the apostle Paul. Praise God! If I can become as a fool (for Christ) in the eyes of compromised Baptist pastors, for the sake of contending for the faith and putting to shame them who are indifferent concerning the truth, then so be it! 2nd Corinthians 11:16, “I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.” If you think I am a fool, okay, then I'll gladly be the fool to help you see the truth concerning the Gospel and the Word of God. If my calamity can become a blessing to a church, then I am willing to suffer to help others in Christ. If getting kicked out of Baptist churches and suffering reproach, for telling the truth, is necessary to help a church to painfully see the truth and grow, then I am glad to be the bad guy for God.

I value the truth more than I do a social life, although I very much want to get along with other believers. Although we ought not want to fight as Christians, sometimes we have to fight as Christians! If I don't stand for the truth, who will? If not here, where? If not now, when? Isaiah 6:8, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” How about you my friend? Will you go? What is it that God has given you, that you can use for Him? Moses made a bunch of excuses why he couldn't do the Lord's work. Moses told God that he had no skills, couldn't speak well and was the wrong guy for the job. Moses really didn't want the responsibility!

I love God's response to Moses in Exodus 4:2, “And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.” All Moses had was a stick in his hand!!! Moses felt like a nobody! Moses couldn't believe God was coming to him to lead the Hebrews out of bondage in Egypt. Moses said, “Who me? Lord, You've got the wrong guy!” But Moses was the right man! So be encouraged whoever you may be, God can and does use nobodies, like me. If there is anything good about me, it is the precious Lord Jesus Christ, My God and my Savior! I don't like making enemies, but I must preach THE TRUTH! I must preach the truth because I care. Little things matter! Truth matters! The Devil has crept into most churches today through the corrupt Alexandrian Bible versions. Wicked and ignorant men defend the Devil's fake Bibles. The saved man who walks with God has spiritual discernment and sees the counterfeit Bibles for what they are, of the Devil!

We Need More VOICES!

There is a great need today for more voices for the truth, to uphold the Gospel and true Christianity. I do fully agree with something that Evangelist Ray Comfort says, which is, “Men need to be told things twice!” That is so true, which is why I continually reiterate the same important truths!!! We need many more VOICES today, who preach the true Gospel and expose heretics! Sadly, most of the videos on YouTube are in favor of Calvinism and a false Gospel. I encourage my web visitors to start your own YouTube channels, publish your own websites, and find your niche in cyberspace. The best way to deal with the heretics is to start preaching THE TRUTH!!! We're not going to silence the corrupters, nor should we try, for this is America where it is safe to be unpopular. Amen!

I respect Ray Comfort's right to preach his heresy, but I also want people to know that Ray does not preach the Gospel. Mr. Comfort is teaching Calvinism, that is, the perseverance of the saints. I preach the preservation of the saints, that is, once saved always saved! Again, Ray makes the grave mistake of separating repentance from believing, teaching that anyone who believes the Gospel is not saved unless they have also turned away from the willful desire to continue living in sin. Ray Comfort corrupts the meaning of Hebrews 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” Ray says if we continue dwelling in sins, we won't see the Lord, that is, won't go to Heaven. But that is not what the Bible is saying. Hebrews 12:14 is teaching that if a believer fails to live in holiness, OTHER PEOPLE won't see the Lord in us, and we'll be part of the reason why they go to Hell.

I wrote this article to encourage others, or at least put the thought into your mind for now, to start your own online ministry. Something as simple as a YouTube channel can reach the lives of millions of people for Christ, and turn many to righteousness. And may I say, to be very clear, that nothing we do means anything if we fail to preach the Gospel. I am so leery and disgusted with all these Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) artists who never share the Gospel with their millions of fans. They have a big influence over millions of people, but they refuse to carry a cross and bear any reproach for the name of Christ. The reason why is obvious, because the Holy Bible teaches that preaching the Gospel accurately offends people. Galatians 5:11, “And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.” Ray Comfort's false Gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works (which is also what Dr. John MacArthur errantly teaches) is the same exact heresy concerning repentance from sins that Mormons teach.

I realize that Pastor Steven Anderson says quite a few unbiblical things; such as, that God hates certain people. No, God loves everyone, but He is not fond of unrepentant sinners. It was God's unconditional love that sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to the cross to pay for the sins of the whole world. Albeit, I admire Brother Anderson for being a strong VOICE for the clarity of the Gospel and the purity of the Holy Scriptures. What I like most about Pastor Anderson is that he is organizing soul-winning events around the country, and the world, and is leading multitudes to Jesus Christ with the simplicity that is in Christ. How many churches do you know of that are doing this? I can't think of any! Where are the big mega churches around the United States, with their large Bible colleges? Why aren't they organizing soul-winning events? You've got a little guy, in a little place, in a little church, in a stripmall in Arizona, that is have a gigantic impact for God, reaching tens of thousands of people for the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the power of a VOICE! Brother Anderson is smart. He is leveraging his voice, by training and commissioning others to go out and also become voices!

Some critics want to condemn Brother Anderson and discredit his entire ministry because he is 5% off the mark doctrinally. Well, I'm going to support the guy who comes to the closest to being right, even though he may be off the mark a bit. NOBODY is always 100% correct in their doctrine! The two deal-breakers are the Bible and the Gospel, and Pastor Anderson is 100% correct on these things.

Nothing Else Matters if We Don't Share the Gospel to Win Souls

We hear much talk in churches about “gifts,” and there are spiritual gifts which the Holy Spirit gives to equip each believer to serve God. But the purpose of ALL gifts is ALWAYS soulwinning. Thus, God can use anybody who is willing to be used for Him, because soulwinning is not a calling, it is a command. Every born-again Christian is expected to share the Gospel (Matthew 28:19-20; Proverbs 11:30). If you are not sure what your gift is, then just learn to become a soulwinner and God will show you. Here is a helpful video sermon by Pastor Danny Castle called, “SOUL WINNING.” And here is another helpful video sermon by Pastor Steven Anderson called, what else, “SOULWINNING.” Anybody can become a soul-winner!!! And then you can also shine, as the brightness of the stars for all eternity, knowing that God used your humble Gospel labors to save many alive. What a privilege!

Do you know “why” you will shine? I believe it is because of the people that you win to the Lord, who will look up to you with love, appreciation and admiration forever. They that turn “many” to the imputed righteousness of God will shine for ever and ever. I want that, and I hope you do too. Who wouldn't want to shine? I mean, at the Judgment Seat of Christ we will be casting our crowns at Jesus feet, in humility and love for our dear Savior, Who is worthy of all glory, credit and praise. But we who preach the Gospel and lead many to Christ will shine as soul-winners in eternity. Sadly, most believers here on earth have their heads buried in the sand, carnally-minded, choked by the cares, riches and pleasures of this temporal life (Luke 8:14). I plead with you, whoever you may be, if you are a born-again child of God, to get busy winning souls now while you still can, before it is too late. The time will come when we will no longer have the glorious opportunity to witness the Gospel to the lost. John 9:4, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” END

"But the sad thing is that a lot of Christians today, they don't wanna know the truth in other areas of life. They don't wanna hear the truth about other areas of life! Because the Gospel—believing on Jesus Christ, getting saved—is just the beginning! It's just the beginning. There are so many other things we need to learn, and so many other areas in which we grow. We need to make sure that we keep the love of the truth alive in our hearts at all times." Pastor Steven Anderson; a quote from the sermon, "Why Man Chooses Not To Believe"
