Voodoo is straight out of the pits of Hell!  At www.witchschool.com, they offer a course in Voodoo...

Basics of Vodou

SOURCE: http://www.witchschool.com/course.asp?rtype=ss

Interestingly, there is an apparent difference between the religion of Voodoo (practiced chiefly in Caribbean countries today, especially Haiti), verses Voodoo dolls themselves, which have their origins in English witchcraft.  According to Wikipedia.com...

The practice of sticking pins in dolls has history in European folk magic, but its exact origins are unclear. How it became known as a method of cursing an individual by some followers of what has come to be called New Orleans Voodoo, which is a local variant of Hoodoo, is a mystery.

Regardless of modern debate, as Christians we understand clearly from the Word of God that the origin of ALL Voodoo is from the Devil.  We are warned in 1st John 4:1, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."  To "try" a spirit simply means to TEST it by comparing it to the teachings of the Word of God, whether it be a minister, a doctrine, a book, a movie, an article, a speech, a game, a song, or something like Voodoo.  The best way to expose the darkness is by shining the Light of God's Word upon it.  VooDooz are Satanic!  The VooDooz kit comes complete with a spell book and pins to stick in your Voodoo doll to torture your enemies.  This is so evil.  The entire concept of seeking spiritual power through an object, including the power to torture your enemies, is Satanic.

To no surprise, Toys-R-Us also sells glow-in-the-dark Ouija Boards for your kids to invoke the Devil with.  Or how about Toys-R-Us'... W.I.T.C.H. Journal for girls aged 8-13.  Then there's Glinda the Good Witch Doll for ages 6 and up.  Also for sale, the Teen Witch DVD movie for ages 13 and up.

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, WITCHCRAFT, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." -Galatians 5:19-21

In 1967, the Rolling Stones released their first rock album openly celebrating the Devil, titled “Their Satanic Majesties Request.”  Their song “Sympathy for the Devil” presented the Devil as a man of wealth and taste, a role that lead singer Mick Jagger embraced.  The very name of his successful 1994 album “Voodoo Lounge” praises black magic and the Devil.  Jagger has admitted dabbling in black arts and actively encouraged others to do the same: “It’s something everybody ought to explore.  There are possibilities...”  Mick Jagger is very wrong!  Biblically, Voodoo is of the Devil and a sin to perform.  No one should play with the witchcraft of Voodoo.

“Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.” —Luke 22:31

The Satanic links to both the Rolling Stones and the Beatles have been well documented.  Up and Down with the Rolling Stones, a book written by a personal friend of the Rolling Stones band Tony Sanchez, connects Mick Jagger and others to the practice of black magic.  In The Ultimate Evil, Maury Terry describes how the openly Satanic “Process Church” recruited the Stones and the Beatles.  Michael Matt’s Gods of Wasteland (Remnant Press, 2000) also clearly shows the Satanic roots of rock and demonstrates why a Christian cannot take a “middle road” on this topic.

Rock music and drugs, sexual promiscuity and homosexuality, the occult and Satanism, Voodoo and demonism--they all go together.  Shame on Toys-R-Us for introducing children to demonism and the art of witchcraft.  They will have to answer to God for the lives they influence for Satan, and steer away from God.  This is just further evidence of the chronic apostasy in America.  Even so come Lord Jesus.
