The internet is a dangerous place to learn the Bible. I was reading a website today at BibleStudy.org, where one of the authors (Jack Lane) teaches that ignorant Jews who reject Jesus Christ in this life will be given a second chance to get saved in eternity. Lane falsely teaches that many of the dead will be resurrected after the 1,000-year Millennium and given a second chance to repent and be saved...
The GOOD NEWS is that the Jews who rejected Jesus didn't know what they were doing. They were not willfully, knowingly rejecting their Savior and Messiah. They just didn't recognize Him, (John 1:10-11)! ...
In Jesus' day, the eyes of the Jews were blinded. Even when Jesus was going around preaching and teaching, He often hid His meanings by telling stories and speaking in riddles and parables:
"The disciples came, and said to him, 'Why do you speak to them in parables?' He answered them, 'To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, BUT IT IS NOT GIVEN TO THEM.'" (Matthew 13:10-11). ...
The second resurrection, following the Millennium, will be when the vast hordes of mankind (including the Jews who initially rejected Jesus) who have died over the thousands of years of human history come back to life in a physical resurrection. This incredible scene, almost too astounding to grasp, is described in vision by the prophet Ezekiel, in his famous "dry bones" vision (Ezekiel 37:1-14).
These resurrected mortals will be given the opportunity to understand God's way and follow Him – the same opportunity that Christians in this life currently have, but with one important difference: Satan will not be there to deceive them or tempt them! In that future time, those who choose to pursue the goal of being sons in the family of God will be changed into immortal spirit sons of God, just as those in the first resurrection had been either resurrected or changed to immortal spirit when Christ returned at the beginning of the Millennium. And so the world will be filled with happy, peaceful, loving sons of God.
This heresy is EXACTLY what the demonic Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) cult teaches. BibleStudy.org promotes the Church of God, a demonic cult, like the JW's. It is misleading that the website claims to “study” the Bible, when in fact they are butchering the Bible.
BibleStudy.org errantly teaches that there will be THREE resurrections: one at the Rapture, a second when some of humanity will be given a 2nd chance to repent after the Millennium, and then a final third resurrection of the unsaved to be judged...
The second resurrection is the greatest of all. It occurs after the one thousand years are finished, and is the resurrection to judgment (Revelation 20:5), when God will allow each individual to live for one hundred years (Isaiah 65:20).
But there is a third category of humans. Christ Himself, and the Scriptures, speak of another category of people — those who have had an opportunity for salvation, and have CONSCIOUSLY rejected it. They are called the "incorrigibly wicked." They are the ones who WILL NOT repent!

The preceding quote from BibleStudy.org is utter heresy. There is no third group of people. BibleStudy.org claims that people who ignorantly reject Christ in this life are different from those who knowingly reject Christ; however, the Bible does NOT make any such distinction. Romans 1:20 teaches that all men are WITHOUT EXCUSE, because nature itself bears witnesses of His eternal power and Godhead. Romans 1:20, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” Titus 2:11 teaches “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.”
It is unscriptural for BibleStudy.org to teach that a separate resurrection exists for those who reject Christ because they allegedly didn't know any better. Jesus plainly teaches in Luke 13:24 that most people who think they are going to Heaven will not enter. Matthew 7:13-14 again warns of going down the wrong path...
Matthew 7:13, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Clearly, the Bible teaches that once a person departs from this earthly life, they are going to either Heaven or Hell forever (also see Psalm 9:17). The Bible does not make allowances for ignorant people. If you don't like it, then get mad at God because He Authored the Bible.
BibleStudy.org perverts Isaiah 65:20, taking the Verse out of proper context. The Bible is speaking about the longevity of life during the Millennium, when the curse shall be lifted from the earth. The Bible is not teaching (as BibleStudy.org claims) that people who died in ignorance while here on earth, will be resurrected to live only 100 years to be given a second chance to repent. That's the garbage that they're teaching at BibleStudy.org, and it's of the Devil. There WON'T be a special resurrection for ignorant people who died in their sins without Christ. The Bible never teaches, nor even remotely suggests, any such nonsense. Once you die, that's it, your fate is sealed forever!
The Bible is full of examples of
people who innocently died in their sins, ignorantly thinking that religion
was the way to Heaven; but they were dead wrong and went to Hell to burn
forever!!! Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord,

my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,

Two Resurrections, Not Three
BibleStudy.org propagates damnable heresies that violate the most fundamental doctrines of the Word of God. Jesus plainly taught that a person absolutely MUST be born-again if they are to enter the kingdom of God. John 3:5, “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” The Bible never teaches anything about a special third resurrection where all Christ-rejecters throughout history will be given a second chance to repent. The Bible only teaches two resurrections (Revelation 20:6): one for the saved, and one for the unsaved (Revelation 20:11-15). The Bible says in Revelation 20:6, “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power...”
The Bible does not say anything about a THIRD resurrection as BibleStudy.org falsely claims. Who are you going to believe... a website or the Word of God? I DON'T want you to believe anything that I say; I want you to do what they did in Acts 17:11, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” They opened their Bibles to confirm what they had been taught. I am warning you about false Bible Study websites and advising you to run to the Scriptures.
Jack Lane and the BibleStudy.org website are very wrong, doing great disservice to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is “another gospel” that the Apostle Paul warned us about in 2nd Corinthians 11:3-4, “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
If you die in your sins without Christ, then you are doomed to everlasting fire and damnation (John 8:24; Matthew 7:21-23). The notion that God will raise up all humanity to be given a second chance is nowhere taught in the Word of God. This is the heresy of the Jehovah's witnesses. Once a person dies from this earthly life, your eternal fate is determined and cannot be changed. Jesus stated in John 10:35 that the Scripture cannot be broken.
The Bibles warns us NOT to be led away by all sorts of strange teachings. Hebrews 13:9, “Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.” There are “deeper-life” theologians all across America who know the details of the Bible thoroughly; yet they never lift a finger for God, never preach the Gospel, and never make a difference for eternity. Most of them aren't even truly saved. Beware and avoid the BibleStudy.org website!!!
Let me just say again that the Bible only teaches two resurrections. Now I love the teachings of Pastor J. Vernon McGee and he is 100% correct on salvation. He was a Presbyterian minister in Pasadena, California for decades and created the Thru The Bible series, commenting on the entire Bible over a 5-year period. I love brother McGee, but he was wrong on his view of a split-resurrection of the Church. He taught that only New Testament saints will be raised up at the Rapture, and based upon Daniel 12:2 that all Old Testament saints will be raised up at the Second Coming of Christ. There is nothing in the Bible to substantiate that claim, other than Daniel 12:2 if you take the Verse by itself (which is a no, no). In view of the rest of the Bible, Daniel 12:2 can only be referring to the two resurrections, even though they are not going to happen at the same time.
Daniel 12:2 cannot be referring only to believers, because even though many believers will suffer loss of rewards and cry many tears at the Judgment Seat of Christ and beyond, the Bible plainly teaches in Revelation 21:4 that God will someday wipe away all tears, former things shall be passed away, and all things made new. There will be no miserable believers in Heaven forever. Thus, Daniel 12:2 can only be contrasting the two resurrections between the saved and the unsaved, because it speaks of some being resurrected unto everlasting shame and contempt.
Romans 8:1 teaches that there is
no condemnation in Christ Jesus, and so Christ took all our shame upon
Himself at Calvary. Romans 8:34 teaches that no one can condemn a child of
God for their sins, because Christ has risen and ascended into Heaven, and
intercedes as our Highpriest (Hebrews 4:15-16) on the right-hand of the
Father. Only God can condemn a person to Hell (Galatians 4:14; 5:9). Thank
God for the sin-cleansing precious blood of Jesus!
BibleStudy.org Teaches the Heresy of Baptismal Regeneration!

According to the Bible, baptism is a requirement for salvation (Mark 16:16; Titus 3:5). Baptism pictures the death and burial of our old self and our resurrection to a new life in Jesus Christ as Romans 6 tells us: ...
Baptism is a physical demonstration of repentance (Acts 2:37-38), and faith in Jesus Christ (Mark 16:16; Acts 8:36-37). When baptized, our sins are forgiven, and spiritually washed away (Acts 22:16).
Nowhere in the Bible are we commanded to be water baptized for salvation. Unless you believe in two different Gospels, then you must agree that the thief on the cross was saved by the same Gospel of grace by which all men are saved who believe on Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). The thief on the cross was never baptized with water. That alone denounces the heresy of Baptismal Regeneration.
Furthermore, John the apostle wrote the epistle of 1st John for the sole purpose of helping believers KNOW that they are saved (1st John 5:13); yet John never mentions “baptism” even once. Certainly, if water baptism were required for salvation, then John would have warned believers to make sure they have been baptized for Heaven. But John didn't do that at all. Like I said, John doesn't even mention the term. In fact, baptism is not mentioned in the epistles of 1st, 2nd, nor 3rd John.
Many heresies have originated in
the
manmade traditions of Roman Catholicism, which have crept in unaware by
unsaved men into Protestant churches and now even evangelical churches. No
one can be saved who holds to a belief that water baptism is necessary for
salvation. Genuine faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God (John
20:31), excludes all works of self-righteousness (and that definitely
includes water baptism and communion or mass). Eternal life is a free gift
(Romans 5:15, 6:23) paid for by Jesus' precious, physical, literal, blood
(1st Peter 1:18-19). We are born-again by the Seed of the Word of God (1st
Peter 1:23), and not by the will of man (John 1:12-13). Salvation is
received, not achieved!

The word “heresy” in the Bible
simply means, “an opinion.” Many of the doctrines circulating in
today's churches are merely opinions, not based upon the Word of God. In John 5:39 Jesus commanded His disciples to... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!! It is dangerous to form one's opinions apart from the Bible. People who express teachings not taught in the Scriptures are guilty of
spreading heresy. There are sincere people in every church, who
attempt to help others by offering unsought advice. Unfortunately,
much of this advice is heresy, even damnable heresy.
