It is tragic that all across the world young women are deliberately being brainwashed to despise marriage and motherhood. Feminism promises a career, freedom and money; but in reality, it's a dead-end of loneliness, heartache and bitter regret . . .
I never thought I would be saying this, but being a free woman isn't all it's cracked up to be. Is that the rustle of taffeta I hear as the suffragettes turn in their graves? Possibly. My mother was a hippy who kept a pile of (dusty) books by Germaine Greer and Erica Jong by her bed (like every good feminist, she didn't see why she should do all the cleaning). She imbued me with the great values of choice, equality and sexual liberation. I fought with my older brother and won; at university I beat the rugby lads at drinking games. I was not to be messed with.
Now, nearly 37, those same values leave me feeling cold. I want love and children but they are nowhere to be seen. I feel like a UN inspector sent in to Iraq only to find that there never were any weapons of mass destruction. I was led to believe that women could “have it all” and, more to the point, that we wanted it all. To that end I have spent 20 years ruthlessly pursuing my dreams - to be a successful playwright. I have sacrificed all my womanly duties and laid it all at the altar of a career. And was it worth it? The answer has to be a resounding no.

Oh, that Christian ladies today would take a
stand against the evils of feminism and teach young women to obey the
Scriptures... 1st Timothy 5:14,15, "I will therefore that the younger
women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the
adversary to speak reproachfully. For some are already turned aside after
Satan." Young women who pursue a career over marriage and motherhood
have turned aside after Satan. If you are a young woman, the biggest mistake
you'll ever make is to pursue a career. Your career won't mean anything on
Judgment Day when you stand before God, having forfeited God's perfect will
for your life as a loving wife and caring mother.
You can search for all the excuses you can find to justify pursuing a career, but God did not create you ladies to work 9-to-5 to make money. God created you to be a “help meet” to your husband (Genesis 2:18), and a mother to your children, "The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame" (Proverb 29:15). Being a good wife and a caring mother are full-time responsibilities.
Feminism is the rot of a nation, the disease of the body, the spoilage of the food, the monkey-wrench in the gears, the fly in the ointment, and the major problem with society today. Please don't wait until it's too late if you're a young woman, make the right choice now by seeking God's best will for your life. Some of the most successful women in the career world are also some of the most miserable, unfulfilled, resentful, bitter and carnally-minded women as well. There is no greater honor for a woman than motherhood and to faithfully stand by your man.
