All Scripture Is Given By Inspiration Of God

2nd Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

Every single word in our beloved King James Bible is inspired by God. That is, God is the divine Author and He alone is responsible for giving to us the Bible. The dozens of men whom God used to write the Bible were mere pens, sinful men made holy for God's purpose. Oftentimes preachers will refer to the Bible as being plenary verbal inspired. The word “plenary” means “Full in all respects.” Therefore, plenary verbal inspiration asserts that God inspired the complete text of the Bible, from the first word in Genesis to the last word in Revelation. Before the first verse of Genesis was ever given to man, God's Word was already forever settled in Heaven. Psalms 119:89, “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”

The Bible is word-for-word inspired, not just particular sections. Many psuedo (false)-scholars reject the Apostle Paul's writings because he exposes false prophets, includes born-again Gentiles as God's Chosen People, et cetera. However, every word which the Apostle Paul penned is inspired. God used Paul to pen 14 books of the New Testament (there is debate over who wrote the book of Hebrews, because the writer is not stated).

The book of Hebrews is the only book of the Bible that doesn't identify the writer. Sometimes a newspaper won't mention the author of an article if it is of utmost importance. I believe this is why God did not reveal the identity of the writer of Hebrews. What is the great message of Hebrews? The underlying theme of Hebrews is the precious, literal, physical, blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ! Hebrews 9:12, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” There is no subject of any greater importance in the Bible, nor the universe.

All of the Apostle Paul's writings are inspired, word-for-word by God, Who is the divine Author of all Scriptures. Even where Paul said he was speaking on his own behalf, and not from the Lord, those words are still definitely inspired 100%. The Bible says that ALL SCRIPTURE is inspired by God. All means all. 1st Corinthians 7:12, “But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.” Although Paul said he is only expressing his humble opinion, his words are nonetheless just as inspired as the rest of the Bible. 2nd Timothy 3:16 proclaims that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God.

Even when the serpent (Satan, Revelation 20:2) lied to Eve, that lie of the Devil is inspired. Genesis 3:4, “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die.” Even that lie of Satan has to be inspired, for it is a part of God's Word, that is, the holy Scriptures. ALL SCRIPTURE is inspired by God.

The New Testament quotes the Old Testament hundreds of times. I have never counted them, but I have been told there are about 270 such quotes. It is commonly taught that the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. I like that viewpoint. The New Testament explains many of the things which were difficult to grasp in the Old Testament. I am so glad to live in modern times, when we have a clearer understanding of the truths of God's Word better than anyone else throughout history. It all makes sense now. And yet most people boldly reject God's precious Words, even denying the Savior Who bought them.

All of the New Testament quotes from the Old Testament are inspired by God. These quotes are not the original autographs (manuscripts). Some scholars claim that only the original manuscripts of the Bible are inspired, that is, the Hebrew and Greek. The Book of Daniel was written in Chaldean, while Daniel was in Babylonian captivity. It is not true that only the original are inspired. God gave His inspired Words to man, and then preserved those inspired Words unto every generation, as He promised. Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Our beloved King James Bible today is the inspired Words of God, divinely preserved just as God said.

When men attempt to point out mistakes in the King James Bible, please realize that they are going up against the scholarship of the 47 King James translators (53 total, but 47 actually did the work of translating). Many of those scholars were fluent writers and speakers of both Hebrew and Greek. I'd be very careful before you go around saying this is wrong, and that is wrong, and this should have been thus. I know some fine men of God, good pastors, who regularly correct the Bible. I love them, and respect their right to study, but personally I would NEVER second guess the work of 53 men whom God ordained to give us our beloved King James Bible. That's all I'm saying, I think we should be very careful.

Also, I do NOT believe that the King James Bible is superior to the original languages. The English language is beautiful in it's style and grammatical structure; however, the Koine Greek is the most awesome, beautiful and powerful language ever created by God, which was no coincidence I assure you. The language was developed by Alexander The Great with a military application in mind. It is an exact language, where a person can say EXACTLY what they mean. Hence, God said exactly what He meant, and meant exactly what He said.

In sharp contrast, the English is confusing at times, because a “subway” could be a train station or a sandwich shop. There's only one English word for the word “hell.” However, in the Koine Greek there's Tartarus, Hades and Gehenna. So although the English language is beautiful, the Greek makes it easier to express one's exact meaning. The 53 (47 did the actual work of translating) King James translators had quite a challenge in translating the Scriptures from the original languages into English. They were so honest and scholarly that they put all the words added (which were not in the original language) in italics. That's how much you can trust your King James Bible.

Not one Bible being sold on the market today offers that kind of honesty of scholarship. Instead, one man sits down and writes a Bible. I trust 53 scholars over one man, or God help us, a money-hungry group with a homosexual in charge like the New International Version (NIV). If you use the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible, please know that only two men (and both unsaved heretics I might add, named Westcott and Hort, translated the Greek from which the NIV and all modern corrupt versions come).

The purpose of this article is to teach you that every word in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation was divinely Authored by God, and is equally inspired. Don't let some heretic convince you that Paul's writings weren't legitimate. They are fools who despise the truth of the Bible. All Scripture is from God, inspired in every manner. You can trust your King James Bible. END

TWO PATHS

Dr. Jack Moorman, who spent many years in researching the question of Bible versions, has stated that the transmission of the Greek text of the New Testament is essentially a "tale of two cities", viz., Antioch and Alexandria. Dr. Moorman writes:

"Just as surely as the King James text was woven into the spiritual life of Antioch in Syria, so was the modern version's text in Alexandria. Today a person must decide whether he is more comfortable with a Bible whose roots go back to one or the other of these two cities...certainly Antioch has by far the most glorious heritage."

ANTIOCH: Here was the springboard for the Gentile church. It became the center for Gentile Christians just as Jerusalem was for the Jews. "The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch" (Acts 11:26). Antioch was the center for the outreach of the apostle Paul and his missionary journeys. Many of the disciples also visited Antioch. Antioch was the ‘ heartbeat’ of Christianity.

ALEXANDRIA: The place where most of the modern texts and translations originated, had no such glory. It is true, however, that Alexandria became a center of intellectualism. Such men as Clement and Origen were active in this area. It was also noted as a place where every deviant sect was represented. Religious corruption and false doctrines were prevalent including Gnosticism, Arianism, pagan philosophy, etc. Alexandria was the place where the intellectuals of Christianity were attracted.
