Hear Ye Him!

Matthew 17:5, “While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”
When Moses and Elijah appeared with the Lord in the presence of Peter, James and John on the mount (Matthew 17:1-5), the Apostles offered to build 3 tabernacles for them. This displeased God the Father, because only Jesus is to be glorified; not Moses or Elijah. A cloud overshadowed Elijah, Moses, and Jesus; then only Jesus appeared and they heard God the Father say, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; HEAR YE HIM.”
My heart's desire is for all my web visitors to HEAR YE HIM. Hear the Words of Jesus Christ in the Word of God. I am just a voice crying in cyberspace, pointing people to the precious Lord. Hear ye Him! I just wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation and love for all those who visit this ministry. It is my joy to live for others in the Lord. You are loved.
I pray daily for my web visitors—that God would work in hearts. I pray that lives would be changed, souls saved, and that Christians would be challenged to become aggressive soulwinners. It is all by God's grace. Our days on earth are but a few.
I thank all of you who have remembered me in your prayers, praying for my poor health and that God would continue to strengthen me to keep going. The pain is unbearable at times, even with the pain medications. I may need neck surgery again. One day at a time.
As the writer of AMAZING GRACE penned, 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. God is great.
I encourage some of you to join me in passing out Gospels of John in your local community, as part of a personal ministry. Gospels of John get read, because it's God speaking and not men. A lot of people won't read a religious brochure, but they'll read the Bible. Find a homeless person, slip $5 or $10 in a Gospel of John, and hand it to them. It'll brighten their day.
I recently left a Gospel of John and a $5 tip at a small restaurant. I had only bought $10 worth of food. The next time I came back, the waitress kindly came up to ask me a Bible question. She said all her sisters had been married in the Catholic Church, except her; she had been married by a judge instead. She feared that her marriage wasn't valid. I explained to her that all marriages are joined by God in Heaven (Matthew 19:6), and that she had nothing to fear. I could see the relief on her face. She asked about salvation and I had the wonderful opportunity to witness to her concerning Jesus Christ. Many people are hurting these days, confused and looking for answers. They just want someone to care about them and shew them the truth from God's Word.
I knew a gentleman long ago who drove a garbage truck, and wrote Gospel Scriptures on 3” x 5” cards and gave them to the people he met on his route. There's something we can all do for God. I challenge you to do more for God.
Luke 12:21, “But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”
I sincerely believe that the Lord's return is imminent. The New World Order is here, and the prophecies of Revelation are unfolding before our eyes. Certainly, we are living in the Last Days. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
It is comforting to think about the many precious words of our Lord, Who said in John 16:33...
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but BE OF GOOD CHEER; I have overcome the world.”
We have inner peace, knowing that Jesus has overcome the world, and is seated in power in Heaven on the right-hand of God the Father (Luke 22:69; Romans 8:34). Colossians 3:1, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”
For the born-again believer, Jesus has promised to give us a changed, incorruptible, body when He returns (1st Corinthians 15:52). Jesus promised that He is preparing a literal place for us to live with Him (John 14:3). Jesus promised that He will give us treasures in Heaven that neither moth, rust, nor thieves can take from us (Matthew 6:20). Jesus promised that no man will ever take away our joy (John 16:22). Jesus promised to always be with us, and never to leave nor forsake us (Matthew 28:20; Hebrews 13:5).
There is a family awaiting us in Heaven...
Ephesians 3:14-15, “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole FAMILY IN HEAVEN and earth is named.”
Being a child of God makes us part of the family of God. These are comforting thoughts for the believer. Jesus has made so many wonderful promises to us, and our future is bright in Christ Jesus.
I sincerely love you all in the Lord whoever you may be.
